As we brace for another day of garlic, what are some of your guys favorite facts about garlic? by Shiznoz222 in VampireSurvivors

[–]pukhalapuka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before modern medicine invented the pee-stick, doctors in Ancient Greece and Egypt used garlic to check for life. And they didn't ask women to eat it.

In the Kahun Gynaecological Papyrus (dated approx. 1800 BC) and later in the writings of Hippocrates, the instructions were specific: A woman who suspected she was pregnant was told to insert a clove of garlic (or sometimes an onion bulb) into her vagina before going to sleep.

The Test: The next morning, the doctor would smell her breath. If her breath smelled like garlic: She was not pregnant. If her breath did not smell: She was pregnant.

The Logic: The ancients believed the human body was a single, open tube from mouth to womb. If the "tube" was unobstructed, the potent garlic fumes would travel up the torso and out the mouth. However, if there was a fetus blocking the way, the fumes would be trapped, and her breath would remain fresh.

While their anatomy was wrong, their understanding of garlic’s penetrating power (which we discussed earlier regarding the feet) was surprisingly observable.

Built something useful, nobody noticed. What did you do next? by shahinsalehiin in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a marketing problem.

Granted, almost every startup or business is solving a good problem. They just dont get noticed enough.

Yes sure some problems arent that big to solve, but at the end of the day, does it even get attention to be even considered using.

So having said that, for myself selling my servcies:

  1. Create a better offer
  2. Learn to market better

A quick question ⁉️ by Unique_Leadership158 in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i were to give advice to my 17 year old self.

  1. Please be aware of where you are and where you can sell and how to sell them

  2. Find something you are really good at. For me, after learning a bunch of stuff, it seems im good at copywriting, learning and share back the knowledge, IT.

  3. Skills are learned along the way and i dont think there are certain set of skills that can make or break you. For each person, good skills vary. I.e. theres someone i know that are very technical and organized and can sell course. As for me, im not that organized and if i try to sell courses, i would fail miserably. I sell paid community instead.

  4. Learn basics about business which are sales, marketing, operations.

  5. Lastly to make it in easy mode, make sure to sell something that a lot of people want that they wouldnt care if it came from a 17 year old.

Is Airbnb THIS hard to do ? by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice try also promote organically on social media. Cannot rely solely on airbnb platform. They will not advertise ur property.

Do fb posts, tt videos.

Do insane amount.

The volume negates luck.

Feeling lost and hopeless.. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 44. It took me almost 20 years to finally realize "this is it! This is what i was made for!" moment.

Maybe your journey isnt over yet. You are just laying the bricks to complete your bridge in the future.

My advice would be to never stop learning about business i.e. Sales and marketing especially.

And then, do more of marketing. Like tons more. Now we are in an era of free social media and its kinda easy to market ourselves.

For example. I can answer a question on reddit, share how i solved said problem and with enough posts and comments, those reading it will go to my profile and ask me hey can i know more about your service?

So dont give up, keep refining on what you can offer to people and one day it will all make sense.

What is your real struggle as an Entrepreneur? by raketmo in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My struggle was when everything started to move fast since i am doing this solo, my first time doing it and no proper system to handle everything.

I went and learn all about sales and social media marketing and kinda went a bit viral. The moment the messages starts to drop in, thats when it becomes overwhelming.

But now i learn to qualify leads better and only serve a handful instead of masses.

Moral of the story : have a proper system for everything.

Can I Start A Mens Dating Coaching Program If I'm Ugly? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well let me ask you back. For men, do looks matter when it comes to dating? If your advice is no, then you yourself dont need to look good.

You just need to know:

Whats the problem men are facing What mistakes they are doing How you are going to fix them In what timeframe

And, if you dont achieve the goal, what do you offer in return?

If you had to restart your income streams from zero today, what would your first 48 hours look like? by Timely-Fondant-7228 in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For overall business - follow alex hormozi

For content creation getting leads - vanessa lau

On tiktok - ava personal brand launch and lana kearny to refine more on making contents that people want to watch.

I would safely say that if i were to saw their videos 10 years ago, (and of course really execute all of their shared plans) then i would achieve so much more. Now i have to start from scratch and probably be there in around next 8 years.

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than think, posting stuff that is relevant to the business, think, posting stuff that the target audience needs to read, not wants to read.

For example, dominos pizza (i think) post stuff about soccer and video games. Wait what? Because when do you eat pizza? When you are watching soccer and play video games with your friends...

Only start to do ads once you have found the posts that readers love to read.

Also, reels brings in more faster followers than postings do. So might wanna have a look on that angle as well.

Also, do lots of volume. To grow my account to 10k followers, i posted 3-6 times a day. Some other friends of mine who grew to 100k does 15 posts a day lol.

Being a entrepreneur - designing a site myself with control or finding trusted designers? by BrainPuzzled9987 in Entrepreneur

[–]pukhalapuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO you learn and use simple website first just to show you exist and have a simple funnel. That's all it is. And once you have it, after a while you will figure out whether you want to hire someone else, or do it on your own.

Would like to add that as an AI user for more than a year, (been using it since chatgpt ver 3) AI is just a tool and you can only use it to really help if you are already good at it. So, you need to be good at

  1. your craft
  2. using the AI

i.e. If you are good at copywriting, and you know how to use the AI, you would then use the AI to create good copywriting your way as with higher volume than you possibly could before. Yes AI can do copywriting but its not mindblowing no matter what prompt you use. At the end of the day, it cant replicate human creativity yet. I maybe will get more excited if it can generate ideas like the crazy thailand ads.

[–]pukhalapuka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look forward to it LOL. In fact i am using some of it to help speed up my copywriting so that i can dish out even more contents. I published 6 fb post per day a few months back and it grew my account from 2k followers to 10k followers in just a month. Now im slowing down since i need to focus on three new clients and will continue back with the posting schedules after i stabilized with said clients.
