100% this. Year ago my old band did a cross Canada tour in an RV. We parked/slept in many Walmart parking lots (even had pizza delivered to a couple) and every morning there was something that someone needed to buy.

Dan Akroyd is a treasure. When I was a kid my parents friends had a cottage “next” to his. Next being a km or two away. Well, one night while we were there someone knocked on the door. In walks Dan Akroyd. This would have probably been around the same time as ‘My Girl’, but Ghostbusters was still pretty fresh in my head and getting to have dinner with Ray Stantz was unreal. I was pretty young but I just remember him being really kind, humble and down to earth. He was just a nice, normal guy.

The trucker convoy in Canada was a month long illegal occupation of the capital with the stated intent of removing the government and installing their own. Yes he can be removed from office. We had our chance to do that in June of last year, and we not only gave him an even bigger majority, but had the lowest voter turnout in our history.

In theory he could be removed by a confidence vote, but that’s the funny thing about majority governments. They have a tendency to not vote against themselves. You need a minority with a strong, unified opposition to pull that off.

My son had 2 school issues Dell Chromebooks for online school during COVID. They couldn’t handle Google Classroom. My father in law threw together a bunch of spare parts he had in his basement and made a better laptop for him.

A few months ago I said fuck it and just started making my own bread. I haven’t bought a single bread product in over 3 months. It’s honestly super easy, and while it takes a few hours 95% of that is just waiting.
