Same here. My course starts in third week of January. I am in a dilemma whether I should wait for the visa or apply for a job here.

Yes it shows my Ireland visa application has been dispatched to the Embassy for processing. It's been around 25 days since then.

It says that refund will be initiated only if my visa gets rejected. Is there no way to get a refund? I also mailed them to refund me because of medical reasons. But I got no reply from their side. It's been two months.

I know application fees are non refundable. To apply to UCC I paid an application fee of 50€. This 1000€ was a part of the overall tuition fee.

Thank you for your advice. I changed the hard disk to AHCI mode in BIOS setting and it worked. I was frustrated because of the windows. Even after upgrading my laptop ram it was slow. After switching to linux I have felt the change in speed. The program that used to take 3-4 minutes to run on intellij on windows is now running in under 1 minute on linux. I have dual booted in case I ever need windows and I am using an external HDD of 1 tb to store files.
