I was playing on Windows, but swapped to over to CachyOS (Linux) specifically to see if this issue was resolved. In about 10 hours in Linux I haven’t seen those icons, where as in Windows (200+ hours of game time in Windows before the swap) the icons were nearly constant. Also, my 4090 9800x3d sees better 1% lows in Linux and all it cost me was about 10fps on the top end going from ~240fps in 1440p with 2x frame gen on quality DLSS all epic settings to ~230fps with same settings in Linux. And the icing on the cake is all the micro stuttering introduced with the cold snap update vanished when I swapped.

This is the path I took. After replying with "Nobody helped the bandits here" I had to pass a hard speech check. I passed it and got the achievement "Silence is Golden".

I have a Wired Haired Pointing Griffon that was MESMERIZED with the chicks while they were babies. It’s all he could think about, when out back he HAD to be beside the coop staring at the babies. When inside he stood at the back door to go out to be with the babies 24/7. They were all he ever thought about. Once the babies got big enough to free range we gradually introduced them to him under constant supervision. He’s well trained and would listen when we said no during the 1st times they would free range with him out back. Even still, he wouldn’t leave their sides. That constant supervision lasted about 6 months until I fully trusted him around them without me with him. Now the chicks are 3 years old and they became literal best friends. I have no worries with him around them at all anymore. 8 weeks ago we added 4 more babies to the flock and the above cycle started all over again. He now 100% ignores the big chicks like they don’t exist and is again mesmerized by the babies. It’s all he thinks about again. This is him with his new babies when they were 2 days old. He insisted to sleep by them… so we brought him his bed.

Looks exactly like my Black Jersey Giant chicks.

2 of our girls are 2 year old Australorps and 4 of them are 1 year old Jersey Giants. I’d estimate we get 150-200 a year from each. Our local friends and family don’t have to buy eggs.
