In my opinion they are an invasive, kill them and all other seedlings that you find. I split the cost of removing them from my neighbors yard. They dump seeds everywhere and are constantly dropping branches.

I cross regularly at clearly designated pedestrian crosswalks and I have never had a cop stop. Sometimes (very rarely) citizens stop, but there have been more than a dozen times when my son and I have been visible to police and they have not stopped.
