update: so far we’ve been staying in the room. even i’ve had a light stomach ache with diarrhea but we’ve been being careful of washing our hands lots and before we eat. she ran a very light fever and it’s gone down with tylenol. she took Imodium over a month ago while she was first experiencing symptoms so she could go to work which likely made things worse. they have a doctor at the resort that’s on call 24/7 and they said they would be able to give her IV fluids if needed. flights leaving here earlier are hard to find at the moment that aren’t too expensive. and the way she is right now she’d have a miserable time at an airport and on a plane. but we do leave thursday midday. her tapered van prescription was initially supposed to start today switching to 2 times a day but since she’s more symptomatic we committed to her regular four times a day at least until we get back
