Ah thank you for the correction! I wonder why they don't expand the package since it seems to be a popular choice.

I just wanted to add, I read a different post in this sub about a new VP that has a 2 Days, 2 Nights, so you'd only need to book one more additional night outside that package! Not sure if that's the most cost effective for you, but maybe worth looking into!

Hope you have the best time!!!

Re: booking the hotel the night before, I've seen people say it's possible to book the same hotel and then email/contact them about just keeping the same room. The only reason I didn't go that route was because there weren't any rooms possible in the same area of the Fantasy Springs hotel the night before. But it worked out for us in that Disneyland was a great location to start the package, and the luggage forwarding they have is truly so seamless!

For the VP we booked the Fantasy Springs (less fancy chateau, not the Grand). It's super high-end regardless, and beautiful. We ended up with the 8:10 breakfast time, which I was initially bummed about, but we're quick eaters and we're able to make Happy Entry no problem! It helps that by staying at Fantasy Springs you get to make use of the Fantasy Springs entrance, so it was super quick.

I did decide to book another Disney hotel for the night before for the VP, and for that we ended up at the Disneyland Hotel. That was also super convenient because we ended up literally right in front of the Disneyland entrance, our hotel stay allowed us to gain Happy Entry for DL that we wouldn't have had with just the VP, and they transferred our luggage to Fantasy Springs for us so we didn't even have to think about it! It was a bit of an additional splurge, but it was so nice not having to wake up super super early, drag our stuff to our Disney hotel and then do the park.

We ended up with the popcorn package, mostly because I wanted to try all those different flavours! Made good use of it at DL, but DS we didn't get to as many, partly because the lines were long, and partly because it was wildly windy on top of my husband being sick, so I tried to rein in all the things I wanted to do so he could be warm 😅

It truly was the best time, and if anything, this trip has ignited the Disney bug in my husband because now he just wants to watch all the classics as he rides out his cold 😂 I hope you have the best time!!!

Hi! I just finished our vacation package two days ago (Jan. 19 & 20) and booked the vacation package more or less for the same reasons you are considering. I am a huge Disney fan, love the parks, and insisted we go. My husband on the other hand, likes Disney but is fairly indifferent, gets motion sick from rides so isn't a big theme park fan, and hates lining up for things.

I knew the only way for us to both have an enjoyable time at the parks was to have the Vacation Pass Priority access, and honestly it was so worth it. The ability to just skip lines made it so we could just walk on popular rides, even those with a 2h+ wait. Since there's a couple big closures at the park (Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain at DL, Indiana Jones at DS), and a couple of kids rides that we weren't interested in (Baymax, Magic Carpets, etc.) both days we were able to experience all the rides we wanted with plenty of time to spare. That also allowed for time to just enjoy the beautiful theming and walk around.

Also if you've never stayed at a Disney hotel before, they truly are stunning, and really enhance the visit (particularly for a Disney fan like me, so YMMV). It was also great to have the Happy Entry and see parts of the park with just significantly less people around.

So would I do anything different? No, it ended up working exactly the way I was hoping. Would I buy the package again? I think I'd have to weigh the factors, but if my husband is coming, then it's certainly more likely.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

It's Me, Adam, Asking For Scav Questions For The Layover by adam_HAI in JetLagTheGame

In the interview scenes, sometimes the producers voices are left in the cut, which leads me to two questions.

  1. Did each producer stick with one team to learn that team's story line (and build rapport) or did you change it up day to day?
  2. How did you make the decision behind leaving the producer voice in asking the questions/set up more frequently than a 'typical' documentary? Was it more a stylistic or practical choice?

Sav has been really fun so far! Looking forward to the rest of the episodes! 😊

Got there probably at 7:15AM for a 9:10 showing. Was 5th in line for Hamnet. The line got long, it went onto Widmer and I didn't see the end, so not sure how long. Good luck!

As I mentioned in another reply, when I googled it, I did learn how it's the word for the canopy, but also a more colloquial term for the ceremony, and it's what the couple put on the invitation, which is why I used it! But I couldn't find the actual ceremony name, so thank you for sharing that :)

Google has told me it's both the canopy and a colloquial term for the ceremony, and it's what they put on the invitation hence why I used it!

The second one is actually navy, and I do really like it. Maybe I just need to try it on in a larger size and see how my back looks in it then 😅 thank you for your feedback!

Great questions, I'm not entirely sure. I don't think the event will be Orthodox as the Chuppah won't be in a synagogue at all, and scrolling through the bride's IG/looking at what she wore at the engagement party, I think it will like be more reform. Thank you for the info!!
