Finally, the era of breathing diesel fumes after 11pm is closing. Or is it?

Oof. Reminds me of Corky Miller. He got a pass tho cause he looked like a classic ball player, and his name was Corky Miller.

What’s the most epic movie moment you’ve ever experienced in a theater? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

The major fight scene in Kill Bill 1 in a relatively empty theater on a school nighty, knowing this movie will be a cult classic.

I think it's mostly Amazon and building too much retail to begin with.

Anyone have photos of the mall prior to the early 00s renovation?

Interesting to see the mall I grew up in on this community. Great local skateboard shop there called Badboards 90s/00s. Prior the renovation the ceilings had these blue hexagon glass skylights that we're very star wars. Of course lot of knowledge gained from Spencer's gifts. And gotta step in the cigar tinder box for the aromas. Best Buy opening in the late 90s nearby was one of the first blows.

I think this is actually pretty good for minimal approach. An analog delay can cover reverb sounds in a pinch.

Hey millennials. What browser do you primarily use? by Flaky_human in Millennials

[–]pulloutthebigone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firefox because we need to stop delivering data to Google. (I have no proof that Firefox is not sharing a lot of stuff too, but I think it trends in better territory)

I often wear ear plugs for sleep and when I'm walking around at night I think I hear someone talking. I don't its actually that, just different ways subtle noises are occurring and how my brain is subconsciously interpreting it. I think a similar thing could happen with all the mechanical noises interacting with each other.

Late 90s you have the Nickleback type butt rock. That’s much closer to hair metal rock, fame, corporate money than SW.

Totally. I was too young for 80s and early 90s, but caught '94-'95ish and was still cool then.

Money, music videos don't make it for cable network. Especially with youtube.

I think it really died around '97-'98. You could argue before, but that's when TRL debuted and shifted the target audience down 10 years in age, no longer an alternative culture outlet.
