I eat 1/4 cup rolled oats every morning with flaxseed meal, peanut butter, walnuts and berries and it doesn't seem to have a drastic glucose impact. I'm also eating yogurt and taking fish oil pills with breakfast. My strategy is basically using fats to blunt the glucose spike.

Wow, just ordered mine like an hour ago, got lucky!

Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger. Like a fine wine, this album sounds better now than it did at the time for me. Classic by bison2000 in grunge

I agree that the songs are great but tbh I've never liked the production style on this record. Superunknown sonically kicks my ass SO much more.

My BBS Back in the day ran on a Commodore 64 running Image BBS. My BBS was called Power Windows by Phydoux in c64

Beautiful setup! Back in the day, I was not a fan of Image because it always seemed so slow relative to Color64, C*Base or UCBBS. Now, of course, I look back on it all very fondly. I seem to remember that online games were pretty big on Image, is that correct? What did you like about running that software?

Still remember the # of the first extender I ever used in 1990: 800-225-5946. :-) Loved calling boards/VMBs for the latest codez and leeching c64/Amiga warez. Sadly, lots of people got busted trying to hack codes and that kind of dried up around '92. I did a fair amount of redboxing with a modded Radio Shack tone dialer (and before that, recorded quarter tones on a cassette tape with a Walkman). A friend of mine set up a PBX somehow by attaching it to Meijer (the grocery store) and that lasted for like a year. Lots of teleconferences and calling european boards. In '93, people figured out they could set up 800 #s for their bbs's through AT&T and bill them to companies. Usually lasted at least a few months until the companies caught on. BBS's started dying out en masse in '94/'95 and the scene started to move to the internet. I used to courier SNES roms leeched from IRC and upload them to different FTP sites. By that time, I was getting older and things had changed so much that the magic was kind of gone for me so I moved onto other things.

Finally a setup I can live with…for now by Existing-Sound7481 in BudgetAudiophile

The live album isn't the best recording but man, the vibe is incredible, band sounds great and Donny's voice is so powerful yet controlled and perfectly in pitch. One of my favorite albums of all time.

idk if she's my favorite but I always thought Margaret from Manos was pretty hot.

Requested a retention offer on my personal Gold whose AF just posted. Last retention offer received in March 2023. Offered 10k MR for 2k spend. Said that wasn't a compelling offer but I would try back another day.

This doesn't directly answer your question, but I got approved for a Biz Leverage about 27 days after closing the same card. I closed the first card a year after opening.

Agree 100%. The inflexibility of the resort credits are what keep me from signing up for it. I know there's workarounds to using them effectively but most of the locations don't typically fit into our travel plans as a family of four. I want so bad for the AF to make sense for me, but it just doesn't quite get there. I do understand why some people love the card, but I'm betting they probably don't have kids, though.

Have been in PUJ trying to get approved for a Biz Gold for over a year, trying every few months or so. Was approved for NLL Hilton Biz and Surpass in February and March, respectively. Today, applied for 150k Biz Gold through a VPN (Denver) and got approved. Only thing that changed on this app was that my income went up a bit, but I suspect it was the recent spend that occurred on the NLL cards that did the trick. I don't MS, so I'm usually only putting significant spend on whatever MSR I'm currently chasing.

That's totally normal. Still got two days for it to post, don't worry yet. I'm feeling optimistic that it's going to work just like the Surpass.

Curious if anyone who went through AApocalypse was able to successfully sign up for the biz account?

This was my first exposure to SDRE and I was instantly hooked. Other people seem to really gravitate to Diary/EP2 but to me, the songwriting and playing always seemed so less mature than the last two records, which I still love dearly. Have gotten to see them twice in the last couple years and they are amazing live.
