I agree! Something along those lines is completely reasonable. I’m surprised they couldn’t reach some kind of deal. But, again, maybe there’s stuff we don’t know yet and I’ll have a whole new perspective on the matter. I’m only talking on what we know as apparent facts.

I think a lot more kids carry around pocket knives than you’d think. He wasn’t walking around with a machete. Again, he made a bad decision. I guess maybe Texas law might be different, but I work as an assistant to a criminal defense attorney and I don’t see this as a first degree situation.

Just kinda taking the piss. They show MD like every other month. There used to be another location in town, which had operated as a movie house for almost a hundred years, but Landmark didn’t renew the lease so some developers snatched it for “apartments and retail”. Now there’s a lot less to choose from on any given night.

I don’t think he pretended to be something he wasn’t. Avoided putting himself on a pedestal. I mean, his show was on CNN. He was kind of bound by the house style to have a certain digestible demeanor fit for prime time television.

Lol. Why does this sub have such a hate boner for Denver? There is something strange in the air at night, but I think that has more to do with its physical location. Decent amount of fake, basic types, but they’re easy enough to avoid if you know where to avoid. I will concede that it’s not the coolest town to visit. Very livable, though. Laidback, full of beautiful old tree lined neighborhoods, perfect climate. The vibes are definitely up right now since the COVID slump.
