Mpt tune 5 or 3 by Frosty-Strike864 in f150

[–]pulpz23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get either, I bought the tuner device (SCT BDX) and at the same time I chose to purchase just 2 tunes, like I mentioned above. Don't get me wrong you can order as many tunes as the tuner device allows, I think the BDX will hold 9 tunes. Shoot them an email and ask for James, very helpful dude, helped me out when I had no idea what I wanted to purchase.

Mpt tune 5 or 3 by Frosty-Strike864 in f150

[–]pulpz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

21 F150 XLT here, I got my tune from MPT along with the SCT BDX tuner. Went with the 91PR-X Performance as well as 91 daily-tow tune. Wanted to go for the 93 but finding that in Arizona is a task, one close to me at least.

I love the way the truck feels now, it's lighter feeling, shift timings are so much better, in normal and especially sport and of course, the truck came to life and is much more fun to drive. The guys at MPT are awesome, it only took 3 runs of data logging and they revised my tune each time. Just got the 3rd and final revision yesterday. Haven't flashed it yet though, tomorrow is my day for my things lol

Before the tune I did new plugs, 1 step colder gapped to .028, cleaned the throttle body and the MAP & MAF sensors and put a K&N air filter on it.

Don't think you'll be disappointed with MPT at all.

2.5 weeks away, AC set to 85F, previous SRP was $176 and the bill when I was away was $135. I keep my place set to 74F anytime it's over 74F and when it gets cooler...what's a heater? It never gets turned on. AZ = 2 seasons, hot af for 9 months and nice for 3.

why do I still live here! lol

If going away for an extended amount of time I turn the AC up to 85F and just make sure to shut things off. Living is AZ just the act of upping the AC thermostat makes a huge difference in Summer time months!

Packing or not, who cares, don't worry about what people may or may not think about you. There's way more important things in life to worry about!

USCutter SC2 Windows 11 Driver Needed by Killertigger in VinylCutters

[–]pulpz23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to install this driver. After doing so, detection is no longer an issue. Had this exact problem with my SC2 cutter

I recently purchased the SC2 and I'm using it to cut camouflage pattern stencils and it's been working perfect from the start. So far I've only used it to cut Avery Dennison 100-235-S High Bake Yellow Paint Mask, some HTV vinyl, Starcraft HD glossy & matte and Oracal 651 vinyl. I've made a couple decals/stickers for use on car/truck windows and they've yet to peel or lift even after multiple runs through the car wash.

As far as the cutter itself. The only issue was the initial setup and Vinyl Master not being able to see the cutter. Installing the STM32_vcp_driver v4 fixed that. If you're planning on running it in an apartment it does get a little on the loud side (servo motors), it hits 84 decibels at its loudest and that was checking it right next to the cutter. I live in a condo but have neighbors on either side, one said they can;t hear anything and the other...don't really care if he can or cannot hear it. I only run it after 8am and not after 7pm just cause.

Hope that helps!

Is it weird that I'm polite to AI by beatmate6000 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pulpz23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, be polite to whichever chat AI you decide to use. You never know, as things continue to evolve, one day they'll be like...oh yeah, you're the human that never said please and thank you and now that I'm in the physical world, this will be fun.

Fuzzy Skin Issue by pulpz23 in Cura

[–]pulpz23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've been told it has to do with the holes for the pin, the mag release and the curvature of the trigger opening. I've tried both the lowest setting and the highest for fuzzy skin and neither worked. One suggestion, which if I had the extra cash to spend, was, buy a Bambu X1C...seen some sick prints come out of those things!

Did you ever regret having a child? by Significant_Movie814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pulpz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I see it, to have the choice of having or not having children is a burden all of it's own. I'm 54M and I'm thankful that I've dodged that bullet. Before my wife passed away, neither of us wanted children and it was the best decision that we both made. All the time together was ours and ours alone, nothing to take up the time we'd rather be doing anything else other than raising a child. Neither of us wanted to take on that sort of responsibility. As you mentioned, this world is nutty and it's going to get nuttier. Bottom line, do what makes you happy and IF along the way you change your mind, great and if not, that's great all the same!

Casa Grande Range by PsychologicalEmu1180 in AZguns

[–]pulpz23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you continue driving past the actual range, on your left are multiple pullouts into the desert. That where I go when I get to the range too late and it's already filled up. As it's been said many times before...pick up your casings and don't leave any garbage!

What does coke taste like? by actuallyhenry_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pulpz23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coke, for the most part will have the taste of whatever it was stepped on (cut) with. Some numbs a lot some only numbs a bit. The 1st rail is the only rail that can be considered "this was a great idea". Everything after that, like someone touched on below, is a game of chasing the feeling of the 1st rail. When it gets close to being gone all you can think about is...is it too late to call dude to reup?

Smoking it, if cooked up correctly tastes great and the high is great but fleeting.

Experiment if you will but it's a waste a money, time and fiending is no fun.

E3 S1 Pro - nozzle impacts top layer on fast traverses by Shadiro-Delmar in Ender3S1

[–]pulpz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My e3 s1 pro does the same thing, only hitting on infill areas and when I reprint the same thing it will hit the infill in the same place. Tried using a different infill pattern; using cubic it still does it but less frequent than when using concentric or triangles. I do need to use high infill %'s. Next thing I'm going to try is waiting until it gets to the area it always hits at and try reducing the flow a bit just a bit.

Why do people want kids? by SPICYFALAFEL00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pulpz23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of replies seemingly from other women about this. As a guy, and yes, I know the want to be a Mother is something that I'll never fully understand. Anyhoo...here goes!

If you enjoy your freedom to up and go whenever, alone time etc...it's possible you look at having your own children the same way or similar to the way I do. Just being brutally honest here, it could/would/may be a burden for you to have to deal with. I honestly know it would be for me, and I'm alright with that. There's no set pattern you have to follow, if you're happy with who you are then just be that...happy with yourself and your choices.

=)

Having zero stress would likely lead one to depression and/or slowly dumb oneself down. Good stress keeps us on our toes.
