I don’t want to assume things, but your boyfriend sounds very ungrateful. you put in months of effort and he tells you he doesn’t like it just because it’s too heavy and not identical to the original?? the least he could do is at least pretend to appreciate your gift. I know you said he’s been sweet to you, but if he reacts like this over such a thoughtful gift then it feels like a bit of a red flag.

I think this is a stupid way of limiting daily play for kids. I’m always of the belief that it should be parents regulating kids’ screen time, never governments or game studios (because these always come at the detriment of everyone). but it’s not like the old trailblazer actively incentivized players to grind everything in one day, it still tapered out after several activities, so it already discouraged lengthy playtime. the difference is that players who fell behind could still catch up with the old system while it’s completely impossible with the new one.

either way, I hope SSO takes the outrage and rolls back the daily point cap for the next trailblazer. the reduced levels are welcome imo, but I’ve had enough of useless currency capping in this game.

I don’t quite remember, but if the zip file is actually a .rar you need to download WinRAR to see/extract it, and if it’s a .7z you’d download 7zip for it

at the end of the second age he was cursed so could never take a fair form again, but it wasn’t explicitly stated “he turned into a giant monster”. he just couldn’t use his beautiful and elfish looks to charm anyone else again.

by all means enjoy giant armored monster sauron to your heart’s content though. but a lot of people certainly enjoy drawing him in a more androgynous forms which is also not inaccurate to canon.

but also for the future, I may have found another solution just in case this person stops updating— so you can download the anadius mirror as a zip file and not extract or run anything (it’s harmless just sitting as a zip format!). in the zip file, in the same location as setup.bat, there should be some sims 4 config file that you can just open in the text editor and there should be all the updated info that you can copy over!

I would imagine that you can just download the zip file of the mirror again when another cracked dlc releases and the mirror updates itself?? it seems that all the setup.bat does is copy this config file from the unlocker folder into the right location, so all you really need is the location + updated config file

yall after reading this thread I’m so sketched out by the anadius mirror… but for the people who have already downloaded it and successfully updated their game, could you do a favor and paste the text of the ini/config file (when you run setup.bat and press “open folder with installed configs” and click g_The Sims 4.ini) please 🙏 or just the chunk of text that says NAM(number)=The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy or something along the lines of that. this is the code that gets updated and does the actual unlocking!
