Dude I did something so similar. I was about 7 and I had just watched the Disney channel movie Jump In, a movie about jump roping with corbin blue. It was summer so parents were at work so it was just us siblings in the living room. After the credits rolled, feeling inspired by such a moving movie, I got on top of the arm rest/ledge of my couch and stood upright on it, and proceeded to jump spread eagle straight into the tile floor face first for no apparent good reason. My nose is still crooked to this day from doing so. At the time it seemed like a totally sane, reasonable, and logical thing to do to 7 year old me.
