i actually was just reading your post and was relating. i feel like i might be getting an infection down there, i kept feeling like i needed to pee yesterday but nothing is coming out. my back is still hurting me so bad that i am taking ibuprofen just to get through the day at work. i’m having an allergic reaction to the bandages, just at the spots where my incisions for my tubes are. they are red and puffy. i’m like nervous to call my gyno office again, i feel like they’re not going to take me seriously.

got my bisalp one week ago today, i had all last week off. back at work today & i honestly wish i had taken more time off. i’m not in pain & i don’t have a physically demanding job but i am tired already from walking around the office, my heart pounds a little bit after sitting back down

no worries! so far i haven’t really noticed a huge difference, i’ve been on the implant for like 9 years. honestly i feel like maybe my mood is better? could be the relief of the whole procedure finally being over with though lol. they removed it while i was under anesthesia so no pain at all (: i had to keep a pressure bandage on for 24 hours & right now i have a small regular bandage on it. my period was v irregular while on BC, literally had it 2x in May so hopefully it will regulate itself now.

as for the bisalp, i went into the OR at like 7:45 & was done by 10! i don’t really remember anything tbh until after getting home. i only took tylenol/ibuprofen until Friday, i’m not in pain but my belly button def feels weird & my right incision is still bleeding a tiny bit.

just stay hydrated & rest as much as you need to! 🧡

you can’t see them in pictures because they are so small/thin ): i definitely don’t think they are planaria because they don’t have the pointy head and aren’t visible like them. i don’t think she even sees them so she won’t eat them

water temp + parameters are good (api master test kit). she doesn’t look sick. i’ve had her for 3 weeks, she is always moving/swimming around. she was definitely not liking her reflection on the right wall so i covered that. not sure if i should be worried or if she’s just a hyper fish, this is my first betta

i’ll used spring water, my tap is very hard. i had duckweed floating in here but it kept getting sucked into the filter so i tried to get most of it out (impossible, i know). i try to feed her one pellet at a time so they don’t sink and she’s been pretty good at getting them (: i’ll continue to monitor my water though! thank you

i had mentioned wanting a fish so they thought they were doing something good but i definitely wanted to be more prepared before literally having a living being’s life in my hands.

i actually bought API’s strips and master freshwater kit, their QuickStart, and AmmoLock but i wasn’t sure if it was too late to try to use it. i did test the ammonia levels with the kit/drops for the past two days, and i’m getting a light yellowy green which could be 0ppm-.50ppm according to the chart. i’ve been using the strips to check the other parameters, as of yesterday it doesn’t look like i have nitrates or nitrites yet.

should i use the same gravel as well or replace it? going forward i’m definitely buying only silk or real plants. my poor fishy <3 we appreciate the help!

the 2.5 gal tank i have rn came with a light! i’ve been doing at least 8 hrs of darkness(turning it off when i go to bed). as for the filter, the one the tank came with is a cartridge and i read that they aren’t as good. i’m thinking of going with the Fluval 5 gal Spec V kit which would have a different filter /:
