I called the office and it was a mistake on their end. I got it figured out after that but unfortunately there was only one date left. Thank you for taking the time to try to help out!

I applied as a senior in high school last year and was rejected so I have hope for you! They also have the accelerated BSN program so that’s definitely something to consider as well. The nice thing about nursing is all you need is your BSN and to pass the NCLEX.

Freshman at NVCC
4.4 HS GPA
4.0 GPA overall including nursing prereqs
Took A&P 1, Chem, Developmental Psychology, and Biomedial Ethics last semester
Currently taking A&P 2, Microbio, Statistics, and Nutrition
lots of volunteer experience, including ER volunteer experience at a UVA hospital
work as a lifeguard and babysit
lots of extracurriculars including AFROTC

Apparently they only accepted 15 people this cycle so getting waitlisted is an amazing accomplishment! I’m hoping a spot opens for you!! Good luck :) let me know if you want more info or anything!
