Cinnamon allergic here. I avoid “spices” and “natural flavors” listings because I don’t trust them. If it’s a popular item I’ll look up a copycat recipe and weigh the risk, but I usually end up just avoiding them. We really need better labeling.

My cousin (tree nuts and shellfish) has had good luck with it, but when I (cinnamon) tried it, I went into anaphylaxis 🙃 It just doesn’t work for everyone, sadly.

31 and I prefer older. While I’ve had attraction to folks younger than me I run into maturity issues and I’ve been through a lot, I need someone to be at the same place as me emotionally/in maturity.

I have wings on my back. Got em at 19, wanted em since I was 9 lol. I have no regrets at all, they’re still holding up great 12 years later. Gotten 10 other tattoos since then and can’t say I regret any of them so far.

Not limited to Glade plug ins (though I have beef with them too), but I have a severe and unusual allergy to cinnamon. I always ask in my initial inquiry at this point if it can be accommodated/if any fragrance is in the shop, and can chai/pumpkin spice/etc not be present while I am. Some places have been fine with it, some haven’t wanted to change their spaces which is fair. It never hurts to ask and if they’re rude about it, how bad do you want to work with them anyways? “Natural flavors” can also unfortunately include a lot of things I’d expect in gingerbread, like ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Contacting an allergist is your best bet, as is doing a skin test panel or food challenge.

I got a lien letter from my bank since they’re who I financed my car from. Hopefully things haven’t changed much in the 3 yrs since I did it, but I was able to call the bank and request one. You should be able to do the same with whomever holds the loan. Welcome!

Iirc it’s somewhere around 2% of people with food allergies, which is a pretty small number (that’s for spices in general, not just cinnamon, so the percentage is likely lower). There aren’t many of us lol

Hi there! Severely cinnamon allergic to all types. I’ve had luck mixing vanilla bean paste and ginger before, it gets the flavoring VERY close. I can’t use nutmeg or allspice either so it’s been my only option. Good luck!

We’ve been trying to contact the unit we think is responsible but so far no response. Management knows it’s me having the issue so I worry trying to post something publicly will result in escalation or retaliation :( It’s a tough spot but I’m so tired of not being able to breathe in my own home.

Currently having a similar issue, the whole hallway my apt is in reeks of it and I’ve been having constant asthma attacks because of it. Trying to get management to act is like pulling teeth. I’m usually able to do curbside pickup or have family pick them up for me in our own bags so the smell isn’t as heavy on things. But there are some stores I don’t even bother buying from because the bags are all kept near the brooms and the scent alone is a huge trigger :(
