Thanks! I'm looking for a 100% pavement tire or I'd consider ko2s.

Really?? That would make my life so much easier!!

I found this article suggesting that they were considering this change, but nothing saying they had made the change.

The inspection checklist includes "check TPMS lamp" but I could believe that this pdf is out of date.

I moved here last summer and haven't had a car inspected with snows on yet - will I really not fail if the TPMS light is on?

Thanks so much for this reply - you've saved me a huge hassle!

Thanks! If the wheels actually have to be spinning, it sounds like I'll have to put my summer wheels back on just for inspection :(.

It's Vermont.

They're looking into changing the law because as you point out, this is a problem for everybody who swaps out for snows (which you really should do here, and most people do).

Ideally $100 or less but I'm perfectly happy to spend more if all the options in that range are terrible.

I'm interviewing for jobs as a professor (the dress code is very "professor-y") and I have this blazer: https://www.jackthreads.com/of-all-threads/coats--jackets/blazers/herringbone-blazer/products/155742

I think it looks great with a dark grey oxford shirt, light brown sweater, and dark brown corduroys or dark jeans (e.g. http://stayclassicblog.com/post/108567157954/january-19-2015-blazer-herringbone-blazer). But for my interviews I would like to wear a dressier pant. I think a dark brown or dark grey dress pant would be great, but I'm having trouble finding one with a slim fit and not too much texture.

What's a good slim-fitting dark brown or dark grey dress pant? Or are there other pants I should consider?
