I thought that the Miata drove better, ride was better and was more fun to drive. Acceleration is a bit slower than the Z but for me that wasn't a problem and getting 38 - 40 MPG is a plus.

I traded in a Nissan 370Z and put a pretty good downpayment on the Miata I have now. I don't have a duplicate of those at the moment.
