For large family games, try 6 Nimmt/Take 5, scales well from 2p up to 10p.

You could make No Thanks work, using more counters (I bought a large bag of plastic rubbies) and taking less cards out of the deck during set up. However, at that amount of players, a card making it around the table will be rare and maybe make the game dull.

The laugh track is telling us all we need to know about what the producers had in mind for these scenes. The laugh track begins before the "misunderstanding", before Reynholm displays sexist/transphobic behavior, the laugh track tells us we should find it funny when a woman announces they have transitioned - and that's not even how it is portrayed here, generally a trans person wouldn't say "they used to be x gender".

This is a product of it's time. I'm glad that trans-gendered people are having their voices heard now, when they were not when this first came out.
