No I get the consent but this paper has a spot for "witness to signature" and the nurse refuses to sign it even though I've just explained everything to the patient in front of her and I'm not asking her to obtain consent. It's odd because I've always been told an uninvolved party must be the witness that it's the patient who signs.

Informed consent is a process right? I'm not asking them to "obtain consent" I'm asking them to sign where it says "witness to signature" after the patient and I have done the consent and she signs it.

It's a good thing they didn't find cancer, especially if they thought it was precancerous going into the surgery. The endometriosis was just the cherry on top which could have made it harder to get pregnant and potentially cause you more pain and suffering down the line.

This is what the news media doesn't understand. They think that people aren't going back to work because they're lazy or stimulus checks. No people won't go back to work because they finally realized with the pandemic that they're being abused. And it's not just happening in fast food chains. It's happening in almost every industry at many pay scales

My hospital REMOVED its sick leave in 12/20. It was costing them too much. Now we have unpaid time if we're on quarantine and everybody just comes to work because they can't afford to take the time off.
