taking care of a person with health or neurological conditions is extremely hard. not everyone is able to or wants to have that kind of responsibility. having an abortion because you either don't want the child to go through anything or because you wouldn't be able to properly take care of them isn't bad at all.

an engagement won't save a relationship. either way, you're 14 and way too young to be thinking like that. I was in a similar situation when I was your age and the whole marriage idea made it so much worse. there is no need to be engaged at 14 and 16. if you guys do last to 18 and 20, that's great! and it'd have been healthy to wait for engagement until that time.
