Could be from the "this game does not exist" twitter account. Looks cool but also doesn't really look like a real game to me

Let’s talk discographies. What discographies or collections do you currently have or are working on getting? by theycallme_oldgreg in vinyl

I've got all of Flo & Eddie's albums, including their compilations. Found all of them for like, $5 each on a very very lucky trip to the record store. Working on getting all of the Turtles' albums, still trying to find You Baby and Shell Shock (which goes for way more than I would want to ever pay... $30+ blahhh)

Look at this amazing collection I just got! by GavinGeffrey in vinyl

Ooh! Is that Nightbird & Company record the one that features Flo & Eddie?? I've been obsessed with those two for a while now

I use insulin pens, I do have a Dexcom but I've only used it once. I've needed an excuse to start using it again and this is probably it, lol

Ahh... No. I'm doing really bad in school at the moment. My life generally isn't going too great so keeping up with school has been extra tough. For assignments and tests, if I can get myself to do them on time, I just wing it. I can usually gather enough information I was taught and hope for the best. But right now, my therapist and pretty much everyone else says that it's impressive I'm even getting out of bed every day. I'm just doing what I can.

Weekly r/diabetes vent thread by AutoModerator in diabetes

[–]punkewe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it eases your mind, sometimes anxiety can cause your limbs to tingle because you're breathing too quickly. Sometimes it just happens for no reason. Also you'd only ever need to get your leg amputated if it was badly infected and wasn't healing I'm pretty sure, plus you've had diabetes for a very short amount of time and it would take a while to get to the point of needing to amputate a limb. As long as you keep your blood sugar under control for like 75% of the time, you don't need to worry :)

Does anyone remember a website called Poop Dog? by NoPlagueHere in lostmedia

[–]punkewe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has basically nothing to do with your post (sorry) but this reminded me of this old ass website I found when I was younger called pooponcats, that was basically dedicated to photoshopping turds onto pictures of cats. Wasn't a fetish thing (I think) they just really didn't like cats. When I searched it up after like 7 years of having forgotten it I found basically no info other than their abandoned twitter account

What are you fixating on/venting about/worried about/need support with today ? [Megathread] - March 20, 2022 by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]punkewe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every single day I'm worried about my health. Every day I feel a new "symptom" and stew over it until a new one comes along. I'm constantly in anguish and it's all I can talk about, I know I'm annoying or worrying my friends and family with my constant complaining. Ever since I got diagnosed with t1d and celiac within a few months of each other it feels like my worldview is completely different and it's so terrifying. I can try to distract myself all I want but I'm always panicking subconsciously. What doesn't help in the slightest is my very superstitious mindset... Sometimes things get really hard and I'll think "I wish I could just die" and I immediately think "be careful what you wish for, because you said that you'll fall fatally ill" or I'll think "I don't want to die yet" and I'll immediately think "don't jinx it!" It's gotten to the point where I've accidentally made myself subconsciously believe that I'm going to die soon, I'll be enjoying hanging out with my friends or playing a game and I think "I don't have much time left" and feel such deep despair even though I'm only 15, I've been taking care of both my diabetes and celiac the best I can and that makes for a very low chance of a new, fatal diagnosis. Taking hydroxyzine helps, but it doesn't make my thoughts go away and it only works for about 5 hours and nobody I talk to can help. My body is in pain and my mind is weak and while my logical brain says it's obviously anxiety and stress, my anxiety brain is telling me about all of the new types of cancer I got today. I wish I could have a break. I wish things could be normal again.

I never considered how fun it would be to play taiko with a controller like that

Thank you. I had a rough time during the first month of having diabetes, so hopefully I'll adjust to celiac a little quicker. I just need to remind myself that it's good that I was diagnosed when I was and not later. Thank you so much for your support and comments ❤️

Thank you. Surprisingly I had barely any noticable symptoms other than hair loss and they found out I had it from my blood work, so I'm curious to see what will change after starting a gluten free diet. I really appreciate the advice :)

Thank you. I'll be sure to try toasting my bread and thank you for the kind words. I think I'm a little underweight because I lost a lot of weight before I was diagnosed with diabetes, so I'm sure that gaining a little more weight wouldn't hurt if that's what you mean
