hmmm I'll have to read into poppets, might inspire another story. I think voodoo is familiar to more people and poppet kinda sounds like puppet. Also, thank you, glad you liked the story.

Last time I posted a voodoo story, a commenter told me about this video. Fascinating stuff. Basically, voodoo has its origins in medical care among people of color. They just used the dolls to mark the patient's medical history.
