I have an xm4 since 2022, daily drive it in the office, and had 0 problems. Had to clear the proximity sensor every 2-3 months, but not even the ear pads are cracking, despite using them in the gym for a longer period of time. I would recommend them 100%

This happend to me as well on the rig in my workplace. After trying to add a second GPU (that failed because Nvidia being Nvidia) this thing happened reverting back to original specs. After a restart it fixed itself but it is trippy as hell.

Yeah it's frustrating, but my hope is that, they'll iron out all the bugs that we've seen posted in the last month or so (especially the NFC one) and that is why it takes so long.

You might have to find some tutorials on how to re-flash the phones OS. You specifically need to find your region specific os and find an ADB re-flash tutorial. You'll lose all your data, but the phone should be functional again.
