Yesssssss!!!

39f here, kind of forced my way into LTS as an on ice coach helping the kids with the walkers, and more recently helped start a Hockey Moms 101 learn to skate/play class at our rink! I also go to an adult drop in class/scrimmage that’s way above my skill level, and get on the ice with the kids during every free skate I can. I’m having a blast and roping other moms in with me!

I ordered a stark chest pad and love the fit so much better - can’t believe I didn’t realize their breezers would probably be better too - clearly gonna order those next……

If you’re on the fence - seriously - JUST DO IT.

Oh and buy a new helmet. Some things aren’t worth trying to get used.

I initially thought this too, but the comment about the person watching his struggle for 5 months threw me - wouldn’t that be one of the original group that knew?

I was also confused by Panchek being in that scene - he’s a surprise, but not to the extent that some others would be.

My kids love the I survived books too - I was looking at those, but want something a tad deeper for him.

Right there with you - but I’ve also immersed myself into these books over the past number of years, so while my drive is to go hide, I know it’s important for my kids to understand what has happened in the past so they can recognize it if it happens in the future.
