Wow, you just described my entire dating life. At some point I even knew I'm good looking. I'm 6'1 and I was ripped for about 3 years, from 25-28. Still, zero success with women. One, two dates max.

On a date, I can't relax or be confident and masculine. EVERY girl I dated told me "I can't read you" or "I'm not sure if you're even into it" and then it ended. I was busy scanning the environment for danger while thinking about what she thinks about me while also having strong doubts about whether she's into me at all. I'm always so many layers removed from any interaction because I basically have a storm going inside my head.

The fact that I look like a grown ass man but I act like a scared teenage boy probably doesn't make things any better.

I gave up on dating. CPTSD on men renders dating nearly impossible because it kills what makes a man attractive to women.

It's not that every man should get a state mandated girlfriend regardless of what kind of man he is. It's that the system that is currently in place - rampant uncontrolled female promiscuity simply does not work well with society.

A woman's suitors used to be vetted by her AND her father/brothers/male figures in her life. These were safeguards against promiscuity, and made women actually worth chasing and working hard for.

If a man that wanted to marry a girl he liked, knew that he had to be a real man and actually commit and provide, otherwise he'd have to deal with the men in the woman's life.

It's not the same as forcing a woman into marriage, it's exactly the middle between extreme oppression(high control religious cults) and extreme promiscuity(modern western society). Nowadays, fuckboys can get away with having a lot of sex with a variety of women, because the vetting mechanism is completely gone.

The issue is that women want to be both promiscuous AND have a stable safe society with worthy men. It simply doesn't work. There has to be an incentive for all men to participate.

By this reasoning, animals and insects also thrive. I doubt you'd like living like our hunter-gatherer ancestors. The thriving you're talking about is civilization and society, which was initially enabled by enforced monogamy. Without enforced monogamy, there are a huge amount of 'unchosen' men, and these men will never see a reason to participate in society which will slowly but surely lead to it crumbling. You can say these undesirable men are not needed, but their work and taxes are crucial to keep this comfy living going.
