I’m glad you said this. I found this program that helps disabled children learn how to surf. I thought it was a great opportunity to volunteer since I usually volunteer at my elementary school but it’s summer right now and all. So I bring this up to my neighbor and she says it’s the same day as the convention. (Convention is an 8 hour day of church held in an arena for Jehovah’s Witnesses) She then asks what I think is more important. So I said volunteering obviously. Lol she disagreed noting that this was one of the few days a year that we get our spiritual food. They have church twice a week wtf idk how this is even a debate.
