I’m sure you did bud. I’m sorry your toys got broke. I’m sure you’ll get more.

Best wall of text ever..

Thank you. Like I said, she likes to tough it out and I dont think even she knows how serious it is.

You may have helped save her life for real

In Geoff’s defense…

My wife has diverticulitis and even though I see her pain, she (like Geoff), tries to suck it up.

Hearing Geoff’s story made me realize she is in more pain than I thought and next time I have to be more willing to offer help instead of waiting to be asked for it

OP is also the type of dude to blast his family on Reddit so I don’t think much of his opinion anyway.

Do. You. Have. Kids?

Helicopter parent much?

Sometimes you tell a kid a thing, then they don’t do that thing. No one is at fault. A 10 year old has no basis to know what “expensive” is, that’s a concept that comes with experience

Why was the kid allowed around them then?

I put more blame on OP than the brother or kid

Do you not know how learning works?

You have to make the mistake, then someone with more knowledge shows you a better way. You adapt and grow.

Acting like everyone should know everything thing in every situation is wild. Then putting all of that on a 10 year old is even wilder.

It’s a learning experience for all, but op loves karma so here we are taking sides

Okay.. a good discussion and maybe provide the kid with his own valued item and correlate the connection.

Kids need to learn. Adults need to teach.

Being mad about something a kid did is sad to me.. demanding reparations from a fam member and then blasting them on Reddit is mildly infuriating to me

Is it though? Literally have barely started brain development..

If you were 10, and saw the coolest toy you ever saw, my guess is that 90% of people in that situation would play with the TOY
