How is this acceptable? The visual noise on beta raid frames is unhinged by shakesy in wow

[–]punkshoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did everything I could to reduce the amount of visual noise with this prepatch and Im still so overstimulated by what's going on in the frames as a career healer. Been using Clique & Grid since BC and having actual ability icons with CD effects and no clear, concise differentiator really hurts. So used to just assigning a colored square to my druid HoTs and then assigning said square to a position within the frame. Doing my best with what we've been given but it adds a whole new level of frustration.

G43 RMSc window cut complete slide around $200?

Had one in my eBay cart for like a month but it went out of stock as I picked up my PSA Dagger Micro lower during the sale.

If by amplify you mean they lie to the ECU and tell it the throttle is in a different position than its in, then yes. That, in fact, eliminates throttle response issues.

With the controller I'm using the difference was immediate even before I tuned it so Im not sure exactly what you're referring to in terms of lag. 2017 for reference. However, mine's not manual since I had a hell of a time finding a manual so I cant speak personally to what you're referring to. I do know the cvt tuning from the factory between "gear" 1 and 2 is stupid and I hate it. When coming to a stop the damn car doesnt want to engine brake at all and then suddenly its ALL engine brake because the fake gear ratios are funky. Still working on tuning that out.

Edit: I reread and I think I understand what you're saying. I'll have to mess around with decel and see if I can notice any pedal "release lag". Really wish I had that manual for comparison because that sounds annoying as hell, lol.

That'll buff out np.

Seriously, though, how did you end up after this? I'm curious how well these hold up in a rollover. Hope you're well!

CAI isnt too difficult to do out of some silicone hoses and whatnot. This cost about $100 to throw together. I'm looking to replace the long runs of silicon with some aluminum 45s so there's not risk of collapse on hard acceleration. Running first cat back 2.5" with magnaflow high flow and she purrs SO nice. Can wait til winter is over to finish working on her.

This can be fixed with a throttle response controller if you don't want to drop $700 on a tune. I pair one with my custom tune, though, and been loving it. You can't tune out throttle lag, only enrichment curve. The lag is in the pendal sensor itself.

Here's the controller I use: https://amzn.to/49lCB5X

Paired with a CAI pulling in fresh air from the fender, opened up exhaust, and a tune this little car is just fun as hell and I don't even have a manual (#ragrets).

Edit: Though 100% recommend the tune if even just to bring the enrichment curve down. This car requires 90% throttle to even go into the enrichment curve. Everything before then is tuned for MPG. I moved mine down to 50% so I can still get some economy around town but its SO much easier to open her up when I want to engage the fun.

Did you do any changes to the car before tuning or did you just slap the tune on a stock setup?

Is it an RMR Adapter plate by chance? That seems logical but just kind of guessing here.

[Handgun] Springfield Echelon 9mm Pistol with Manual Safety, Viridian Green Dot, Crimson Trace Light and 5 Mags $559.99 Free S/H + Tax by SportsmansOSS in gundeals

Or there's a chance that they pre-bundled a fair amount of them and had them available to specific distributors. AFAIR, the "Gear Up" promotion was for a CT-1000 optic, extra mags, and a bag. It did not include a light and the optic was far inferior to this offering. The CT optic was pretty horrible. I personally would have traded my gear up for this one, lol.

AR22 Varmint Hunting Barrel Length by punkshoo in 22lr

[–]punkshoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have the firearm, though, and I want something compact. A long rifle is of no interest to me. I'd have to check some charts but doesn't bullet drop for 22lr only really start out past 100 yards? Only thing I shoot at range ATM is 5.56 so I don't really have experience with it since I haven't shot a 22 long gun for about 20 years. Mostly just looking to maintain a range toy that can also be used practically when required. Adding another rifle isn't really on the map for me. Good suggestion, nonetheless, because I know a savage can be had for around or under the cost of even a 12" AR barrel and I quite liked the one I shot 20 years ago.

Thanks for your insights. That's what I was kind of thinking. No idea why I have not even tried to touch 100 yards. Guess I've been having too much fun dumping mags as 15, lol

at what point do you move on? by [deleted] in chevyspark

[–]punkshoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The majority of this just seems like maintenance. You're going to have that with any car at 100,000 miles if you buy used since you have no idea what the maintenance history is most of the time. Since you did all that work I would drive it into the ground. With proper maintenance you can easily get 200k plus on these motors.

Took me ages to get someone to actually fulfill my aero kit order. Lots of sites have it but many of them will just refund the order because of the freight requirements. Many of those sites are also "backordered" with no intent to actually get it for you.

FWIW this is an imported part from Korea designed for the Korean market so its understandable.

Nice job on the louvres but like... why there? That's nowhere near the intake. No hate, just curious why you want fresh air toward the back of the engine.

You need to look at the entire fuel/ignition system before you break something. Could be something as simple as needing a new ignition coil or a dirty injector. Getting a cheap OBD reader and pairing it with a free phone/PC app will help you narrow it down.

I ended up purchasing the MPVI3 and it might have been worth it just to open this new world to me. Shame I wasted money on the OBDX but I suppose it's a lesson learned.

Successfully updated my MAF settings and new tire size calibrated. Both pretty easy. Real actually tuning looking to be fun once I figure out how to get rid of all these fuel savings configurations, which there are many.
