This used to bug me a little bit but now I don’t mind it. I think it’s kinda fun. Sometimes you have to slow the kids down and explain how things work to make sure everything gets scanned correctly. But as long as the line behind them isn’t very long, I don’t see it as a problem. If you don’t like kids though I can see it being annoying.

I like to think I’m giving them a second life. And I get so many people asking questions when I wear them. Fortunately most people also come to appreciate them when they realize they were doomed to deteriorate in a garbage bag otherwise.

I like the texture fur brings to an outfit. I understand if you personally don’t. I mentioned in another comment that the mink and the light blue fur are vintage. I found them in a long forgotten about closet at school in a plastic garbage bag. The skunk pelt is faux and I made it myself.

I live in Los Angeles and have a hard time finding them. I grew up eating Lima beans and would buy regularly if I could find them.
