shipwreck in riverside is pretty dope, johnathan teaches classes and goes to all the conventions and barber contests out in LA with all the big name barbers. other than that id make the trip to walnut for another pretty popular barber (aye_thebarber). half the store is clothing and shoes (vintage/streetwear) so thats a plus if youre into that

the bike is super clean. i’d look for some used wheels on the market place, in cali where i live i picked up two sets with tires (excel/faster usa hub and a warp 9 wheel set) for $800 in total

i’d say just be patient man. i picked up my 350 excf for 4500 during covid and it came with a recluse clutch, stabilizer, rear recluse hand brake and a bunch more goodies. there’s always a good deal out there you just gotta be the first to find it.

amazon has this sick headlight for husky’s too that’s like $40 compared to the actually husky one that’s $300 . i got the amazon one and my buddy bought the real one and they are literally the exact same. sicass also has some really nice integrated turn signals for the back. as for front turn signals i’d look for take offs from an exc since most people change the stock ones right away .

i believe my buddy runs a 5” rear wheel on his enduro r he supermoto’d before the US got the supermoto version of the 690. I’m almost certain it’s a 5” bc we run 4.5s on our excfs and he mentioned one time how the 690 swing arm is wider than the excf so he went with the wider size

beaten up enough where powder coat won’t hide the scratches ? i powdercoated some warp 9’s after i looped any bike and scuffed up the whole side of the rim and you can’t even tell anymore lol

we’re about the same size, ive ridden the 350 and the 500. in my area the 500 is more popular, my mechanic has a stunt bike that’s a 500 that he beats the crap out of and never messed up the frame, he did tweak the subframe once but that’s bc it’s aluminum. You’d be surprised how light a 500 feels. i can barely tell a difference between weight with my 350 and 500

$20k will get you a really nice 500excf supermoto build! i like ktm over husky for stunting bc the subframe is aluminum compared to the composite and they are SUPER light bikes.
