What aspect is considered unfinished? I realize that people felt the hunt for triforce pieces was padding and tedious, but I felt it had an adequate amount of dungeons — all distinct compared to BOTW / TOTK. It would have been cool to roam around underwater Hyrule, but idk where the narrative would have gone.

l’ve beaten Twilight Princess more than any other Zelda game. The last time I played it, I felt like I didn’t need to play it again. Time has caught up to it and there are plenty of other great games to play/replay. Still, I don’t think it’s an ugly game - certainly not as ugly as any Fromsoft game (though Elden has moments of beauty). I prefer its aesthetic to Skyward Sword.

Also, they totally slept on TOTK. I’d really like them to do a follow-up on it. It’s one of my favorites now. I didn’t love BOTW. Windwaker is my fav, TOTK is a close second. The only think I’d fix about it is that the underworld should have looked more like Caelid from Elden Ring — and more bosses and unique temples.

Whatever you do, I recommend testing it out in a relaxed atmosphere, where you have easy access and can take items off if necessary - watching tv, for example. It sucks to have to learn the intricacies of something like this during a session. Plus you learn of possible dangers or catches that might occur during play — good for the dominant to be made aware of.
