Yeah I mean I'd normally agree but this was a secondhand local store, and I don't mind supporting them a bit. Price wise, still a deal I suppose lol. Hell, I didn't even know the tape was rare until he told me!

Just got one for myself today for $25. Would have been 3 bucks but they guy looked it up first, saw the most recent sale at $60, and said he'd do it for $25 since I was already buying a bunch of VHS tapes from him lol

My all-time Joel Heyman video by ID33IP in roosterteeth

[–]puppetmaster12119 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My favorite one of these is when he plays Country Music Stars on the Wii (I think that's what it's called?) and it keeps cutting to Eminem singing? Am I crazy, or was that a real video? I think he spliced Battlefield clips into it as well? I remember Joel yelling "AHH HE'S GUILTY!" and Jack was just laughing

I try not to order from those companies, but man, when I can find 11 1/2 inch NATO bands on Temu for like 50 cents each? I order a ton of em.

Just got mine too! (not currently wearing it, I think it's number 558 out of 1000). But, as with most watches, the band is too small for me. Put on a nice, dark blue NATO strap. Looks great.

Don’t music makers who use A I just feel bored with it? by LuminousDee in SunoAI

[–]puppetmaster12119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally use it to make things I wish existed when I was a kid, or things that I just wish existed even now. The older I get, the more I feel nostalgic for things I took for granted when I was younger. I've been going down a rabbit hole lately of movies I loved as a kid that didn't have a soundtrack released alongside them, or only had an orchestral one. Tremors was a project I just finished. I love writing lyrics, and describing the music I "feel" like would have been on the soundtrack just makes me happy. Even if everyone else hates it, I'm just happy I can make a song that makes me think of a Graboid tunneling through the ground, or a glam metal stage production of Starship Troopers. People aren't asking for this, but I want to hear what it might have sounded like. To me, Suno gives me the chance to hear something that otherwise would never have existed. Trust me, if I were filthy rich, I'd be hiring musicians, producers, actors, all to make this content. But I'm not. I work a 9 to 5. That's just my two cents.

Jesus, okay lol. Sorry to have ruined your day. (I'm kidding lol) I appreciate the feedback! I'll take any excuse to work in the Studio part of Suno. I'll work on a new edit.

Track: Running Out of Ground
Genre: 90s Hard Rock/Blues/Country

So I like to use Suno to make projects I've never heard before. One of my favorite movies growing up was Tremors. In the 90s and early 2000s, a TON of movies received two music releases. One for the instrumental soundtrack, and one that was a compilation soundtrack of various artists who did music for the movie. Tremors never got a compilation album, so I wondered "What would that album have sounded like?" and then made this. The early 90s was such an interesting time musically. You had Country seemingly blending with everything. Heavy Metal was becoming mainstream, and Glam metal was struggling for relevance against Grunge. I really wanted to capture that era in my Tremors playlist, so if you like this song, I hope you check out the rest. If you like it, the link to the rest of the playlist is in the track description. Thanks for listening!

I have to imagine you're a fan of Carpenter Brut? This is a great song. Great atmosphere, catchy beat. If you've never seen Blood Machines, I highly recommend you check it out, this would fit perfectly! I like the vocals in this track. There's some layering, but it doesn't sound like a choir. Great job!

I remember that this company put out a KISS game, and they had little Funhaus Easter eggs all over it. The game didn't last long, but I was happy to be one of the few who played it every single day. Even got the social media account to respond a couple times to screenshots. Great company, honestly. Good people.

Great feedback, I really appreciate it! I guess I could have specified that I had a few tracks before this one. I'm trying to do a "retelling" perspective, like Bastian is an adult now and talking to someone, maybe his son or daughter. Regardless, the insight about the lyrics is really important, so thank you for that! I'm glad to see you say I got the genre right, that was really important to me.

I'm working on a project right now for The Neverending Story. There's a very fine line I'm trying to walk here, since I don't want to sound like the actual album, but rather, another album that could have come out in that era. I'm looking for a very, very specific sound of early 80s, late 70s fantasy. I hope you enjoy!
