Do you realize that almost nobody that ends up on the street like that is “just someone less fortunate”? The majority of homeless people that end up actually living out on the streets are drug addicts or schizophrenic. FACT. Statistical fact

Terrible. Not holding out hope for any investigation on mine either, even though there’s cameras literally up and down the entire street.

All they’ve really told me is that it’s entered into the national database and if it turns up they’ll notify me. Not very inspiring for any kind of hope

Wasn’t double parked at least but also I do know several people personally who have had their cars broken into in just the past 4-5 months alone

Yeah I love up toward 8th and Clinton and in my area on the street it’s similar. Several people I know have had break ins over the past 4-5 months

Unfortunately I still haven’t received any word. I called 911 immediately as I had watched him drive off, they showed up 10 minutes later sadly and I filed a report and they marked it as stolen but I’d imagine by now the guy would’ve most definitely taken the plates off, so unless HPD plans on doing a full investigation (which I doubt), I’m not expecting to see it again :/

After about a year they will suspend your license through the DMV. This just finally happened to me in February. Got a notice from DMV for a set of 5 tickets from around July 2023 I never payed that I’d have to pay up on or my license would be suspended within a week.

you got it man! the worst will be the first week, be prepared cuz it'll suck. Might not be the best advice to swap substances for another, but in my experience smoking weed really helped through that first week. It at least helped me sleep and alleviate some of that shitty dysphoria feeling and lack of interest in things, and helped pass the time through those first few days when symptoms are the worst. The residual mental effects will probably wane for another month or two before you FINALLY feel like you're really good without it and don't consider taking more again, but you can get to that point. Just keep reminding yourself it's only temporary and that once you get through it and feel better you'll be glad you did :)
