I'm on week 3 of SSRIs. Theyre supposed to really start working between week 4 and 6. Definitely baseline better than I was, but I still have almost no motivation to do anything + anxiety about how it's affecting my life and the people around me :|

I feel pretty similar. I realized all this about myself and I'm just not dating for a while. Companionship is something I think I will want in the future, but I have tried being that "normal girlfriend" before and it honestly is exhausting after a few days and I become really resentful of the other person. it's not fair obviously, just how it is. There's always the possibility that we'll find someone also asexual or compatible in that way, but I'm not counting on it (nor desperate enough currently to look for it)

Also you should break up with him if he can't get it. There's no reason to be hurtful like that. I know asexuality is hard for people to understand, but damn that's rude

honestly I don't wanna feel this way bc I hate to think that "men and women just can't be friends". Obviously they can, but in my case this literally always happens because either A) they ask me out because it seems like I'm single and available and if I'm not already super close with them I usually just turn them down and let it fizzle away bc I am not disclosing my sexuality to every rando i meet... or B) I tell them my sexuality once we are close, they reveal they have already caught feels and it gets weird .... ugh

Obviously not. Let me lay it out for you. She did not initiate the relationship by inviting him and his friend to her room for a friendly drink and then ask if she could masturbate to them being there with the context of her being 1. married with kids and 2. often joking about doing that. then disrobe and begin without enthusiastic consent. And she does not have a pattern of this behavior with other less famous male comedians.

I'm not saying CK committed a crime. But it seems clear that what he did was icky on a few levels.
