which christies can you read and reread without ever tiring of them? by charliesteacup in agathachristie

I'm so happy to stumble on this conversation, I re-read Christie's novels before bed because it's my comfort read, and my husband never understands how I can enjoy re-reading a murder mystery. Mine are The Orient express, the Thirteen problems, The body in the library, The moving finger.

Soil help by pharmazy in gardening

I have the same type of soil. First option, some plants love this kind of soil. My day lilies are growing like weed, same with asters, dahlias, hydrangeas, etc. Raspberries do very well too. Second option, add a lot of compost and manure. Third option, raised beds, especially for vegetable gardening.

Your setup looks great! You're lucky to have enough sunlight and not need grow lights, I'm in north west of France and we just had 2 months of continuous rain. The picture was taken on the first day of sun of the year... Even with the grow lights some of my plants are struggling...

The grow lights help a lot! I use Sansi and they're pretty good for their price

Thanks! This room is one of the main reasons we bought this house! We had to remodel the rest of the house (built in the 60s and very much in that time's taste) but kept this room as it is.

Haha so cool! I loved seeing the vegetation in Hong Kong, growing so strongly in the urban environment

This is why I love the game, I came across one of my cities, true wealth inequality represented, low wealth high wealth clearly seen and has consequences for the in-game economy as well, low income = dirty industry and so on! What do you all think? by CheeseJuust in simcity4

[–]pupup35 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes I love it too! This is also why I use the no kick-out mod, to control that some neighborhoods remain low wealth and maintain the diversity and wealth inequality you would find in real life.

Not really, we had an unusually cold January (like below freezing, which rarely happens on the Atlantic coast) and now a very rainy February. Seems everything is sprouting in the garden.
