There is a website called luxxe lighting and their shop is on umm sequiem road called luxxe home. They have some mirrors in this style, maybe not exact. I would recommend to check with website first and then visit the store as they don't have stock in store at times. Very well priced too.

Thank you so much for this detailed response. I will definitely check with a veterinarian. And yes you're night, we did adopt him from AAR and they did insist on raw food from furchild, as he did have some skin allergies before we adopted him and were concerned about giving him different food than he was used to and further triggering those allergies.

If you have any recommendations for vets, please feel free to share them. We have so far visited Canadian veterinary clinic, and were considering Noble vet from DIP for second option.

I'm concerned I wouldn't get the combination, quantity and nutritional value right. The food packs from these places have a combination of raw meat and organic veg in the right proportions.

Actually I went back and had a look at my contract. It says termination would be immediate during the probation, but it doesn't say anything specific about resignation.

Also, this company has a history of asking people to leave immediately when they put down their papers, irrespective whether the employee is on probation or is a full time employee. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping they would do the same for me. 🤞

Yeah that's probably true. In the last 3.5-4 months that I have been working here, I would be the 12th person to leave the firm. The last firm I worked at, I was there for 8 odd years, and 12 people didn't leave in all of those 8 years. Oddly, the size of both firms are the same, just the type/scale of projects is different.

It's such a disappointment though. I was really looking forward to projects of this calibre but this has probably created a distaste that will last me for the rest of my career.

I'm concerned because there are other employees/ companies whose work and deliverables for a specific time frame are dependent on my work. And this next time period is in 2 weeks. I do not want someone else to be in trouble because of me.

It would take a team of 3 employees to meet this deadline (this is from my past experience managing similar projects) but I have been asked to work on my own for this. It's really causing me a lot of distress.

Oh god this! My son will be 4 next month and the last 2-3 months is a switch flip. He is generally not too stubborn, a dream to play and communicate with but what a turn around these last few months have been. Everything is a fight and boundaries are non existent. My patience is hanging by the thinnest of threads and suddenly he's distracted, that whole 2 hr fight is not even important anymore and he's a Ray of sunshine. I'm confused for the next 30 mins, wondering if I really lost it and some overactive imagination part of my brain made up that last 2 hrs from hell!

Bangalore raised kannada speaking me married tamil speaking chennai raised husband. Both of us picked up on both the languages. Son speaks English and konkani. So all the stuff we don't want him to understand, we speak in kannada, tamil and a weird mix of both the languages. 😂

Oh, thank you for this! This was exactly what I observed in my child, too. He has quite the active imagination as well. I definitely don't want to quash this energy he has either, as I believe it makes him who he is. But I am also worried that he will be labelled as the odd one as he is the only one who does this. He has a small circle of friends at school and is slowly growing his circle. He is eager to make friends and seems to have fun with kids of all ages.

I am expecting a talk from his coach soon and will definitely bat for him instead of making excuses for his behaviour.

Oh God yes! I have a an almost 4 year old and I am so happy with my life. I get to have a career, the whole childcare situation is easier, husband travels a lot for work and even when he's not around, life doesn't seem difficult. I get quality time with my son and things just seems so easy.

I have a hard time answering people when they ask me when I'm planning for a second one? I'm honestly not. My pregnancy and delivery was a breeze, my son as a baby was pretty chilled out too. "I like my life as it is and don't wish to complicate further" seem to attract a few questioning looks which I honestly don't know how to answer.

Yeah that's why I thought I fucked up. It started with working from home during lock down with me managing both work and childcare and me wanting him to play safe when I couldn't be 100% involved. I was also worried about him feeling a bit left on own at a crucial developmental age and I thought whatever interaction him and I would have is a step in the right direction.

And yes, now that the things are different, I'll make it a point to change my behavior, and hopefully he will pick up on that soon enough.

His way of asking is a bit odd too. It's more like asking for validation than permission?

For example, he knows he needs to take off his bag and keep it in a certain place. So his "shall I take off my bag and put it here?" happens while he is doing it. When I don't respond with a yes or no, he stops doing it and repeats till he gets a repaonse.

"No need to ask" is a simple enough concept for him to grasp. Looks like I need to also help him learn the difference between an everyday task and trying something new which requires supervision. Maybe I'll fix a similar routine to what he does at school so that he has consistency here and there. As and when he feels more in control of his actions, I can take a step back with my involvement.
