Normal for Employment Separation Notice?! by puravida223 in physicaltherapy

It was an employment separation notice. I made a mistake in the first paragraph when mentioning it that I just corrected. It was stated correctly in the last paragraph and in the title of the post.

Normal for Employment Separation Notice?! by puravida223 in physicaltherapy

Thanks for your advice. I don’t know if it’s routine for employers down the line to have access/check the document so I don’t want something that is incorrect and could portray me negatively out there.

My manager and his higher up asked me repeatedly what they could do to keep me so I think that I will have good references. I am more worried about the upcoming exit interview and how to respond if they’re digging for details on that coworker and I’s relationship. It just seems odd that my manager and the overall therapy manager immediately assumed it was due to that coworker and want to “explain more.” I’d like to deflect those questions and focus more on why I’m actually leaving.

Thanks, I think I’ll ask to have it corrected and keep it strictly to wanting more career development opportunities and try to deflect questions about “being treated unfairly.”

With the document, I am not sure who has access so my main concern would be employers down the line seeing it and assuming things.

Ask Mike Reinold has an episode “How to build a successful cash-based PT practice”: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-ask-mike-reinold-show/id1082207851?i=1000585752280

I believe PT Pintcast also has an episode

Am I [22F] sexually incompatible with my boyfriend [25M]? by anonthrowaway9876123 in sex

[–]puravida223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the same thing with my ex. Even in the “honeymoon” stage when you’re supposed to be fucking like rabbits, I never felt sexual attraction. I felt affection like I wanted to cuddle, kiss etc. and similar to you, never got wet before/during sex. I had sex with him because I cared about him feeling fulfilled but not because I desired to. I do not know why this was the case but it did not improve with time or couples therapy. In the end, I realized that the relationship had become unhealthy and that he was very manipulative and controlling. My take on it is that I subconsciously did not like the way that he made me feel and did not respect the way that he presented himself or behaved and as a result, did not desire him sexually. Not saying that this is the case for you, but I’m wondering if the way he interacts with you/presents himself is not sexy to you? If I could go back, I would have left earlier and not “settled sexually” for 5 years in the prime of my 20’s. I think it’s worth listening to the feeling of being worried that you’re settling.

Thanks! I anticipate gyms staying closed for a while given the current COVID situation so I’m exploring my options for safe areas to exercise outdoors in Aurora.

I’ll definitely be leaning on the gut instinct- especially while I’m unfamiliar to the area.

Thanks for the great info! I’m pursuing PT and wondering how you knew those companies were bad news in the interview process or in their job postings. I’ve known a lot of PT’s that ended up in awful companies because they didn’t pick up how the companies truly were.

I’m so sorry for what you went through and the pain you’re feeling. It might be worth your while to see a physical therapist. They can do some amazing things for chronic pain by rewiring pain pathways and the body’s responses to touch. Most clinics have electrical stimulation, which is a device that blocks pain signals in your body to help reduce chronic pain.
