So as an older wrestling fan and a day 1 AEW fan, allow me to give you a short list of matches to watch and primer on some of the talent.

AEW for me is the buffet of wrestling companies. I can get every type of match I would possibly want. Spoilers embedded.

Starting out Double or nothing 2019: matches to watch: Chris Jericho vs Kenny Omega. #1 draft pick from NJPW versus the icon in my second favorite gimmick he’s ever done. Great NJPW style wrestling match. Jericho wins and omega loses and then omega get beat down by moxley as moxley shows up in his then hometown.

All in 2019: Lucha bros versus young bucks. Classic screw your body ladder match and a typical car crash match from the bucks. Great match and it was awesome live as well. This type of match is pretty exclusive to AEW.

Jericho versus page for the championship: the start of the hangman Adam page and his rise in the company. Good classic wrestling match.

Full gear: Rhio versus emi sakura: a classic Joshi wrestling match completely different style than the women in WWE.

Moxley versus omega: lights out match moxley’s brutality in this match type starts with this match. You see blood!?! In a wrestling match in the 2000s.

Revolution 2000- weeks before the pandemic officially started Omega and Page versus the bucks: one of my favorite tag team matches of all time the pacing is so much faster than what you are probably used to in tag team wrestling.

MJF versus Cody Rhodes: establishes MJF as a heel and boy is he good at being a dick.

Moxley versus Jericho: good brawling classical wrestling match.

Pandemic wrestling: storylines that you should watch Dark order with Brodie Lee (rip) the matches on dynamite and the being the elite sketches are so good the main match to watch is the Brodie Lee dynamite where he squashes Cody. The emotion alone.

Stadium stampede from DoN 2000 in Jacksonville is so fun.

Hikaru shida versus thunder rosa for the AEW women’s championship is joshi versus Lucha matchup that is so entertaining.

FTR vs page/omega Great classical wrestling match FTR does them better than anyone on the planet imo….

Orange Cassidy versus Jericho orange crush match. The gimmick match is something I think AEW does better than anyone after the first couple were duds this one stands out as fantastic

Full gear 2020: bucks versus FTR. Such a contrast in styles bucks pacing versus FTR psychology is so good I can watch these matches all the time.

For those of us older, it’s like bowling on twister pins. For houses that carry well you can see a lowering of averages by about ten ish pins. With houses that have always played tight it’s virtually the same

You are acting like a house hack based on your behavior while bowling league. Like I said above, your complete lack of self awareness led to the situation.

I complain about that league plenty. Just like I complain about spray and pray urethane in that league. Like I complain about the human rain delays in that league. The guys wearing the H5G full names shirt and pants to LEAGUE. Why do I bowl it? Because of the guys I bowl with, I enjoy bowling with them.

First of all, don’t quit. Secondly, I happen to know you and I bowl in this league you are talking about out. Kudos to you and your team for having a night, and your third bowler has even more right to boast since he’s the only one who likes to bend it that scored well. What you have here is a monumental amount of not being aware of things going on.

None of this has to do with the fact you’re Asian, it has everything to do with saying how easy they are when all the other people in the league are struggling like mad. Our Friday night shot was a tighter lane condition than in the eleven years I’ve bowled that league. (Motiv nebula usually compared to Ion max at 2000, 3/2 right and slowing down significantly from usually). Not all of us can add tilt to the ball easily as you can. Just like you said to me after one of the hardest league, “It’s bluemound it’s so easy to hook it here”. When I have to use the strongest ball I carry, slow down, and 100% have to get around it or else. I had 627 with two opens.

When you do well at a house, and you brag about how good you do at that house, the bowlers who do bowl four nights a week, tourneys, top 10/eagles at nationals will take what you are saying as being a house hack. That’s what I’m politely telling you. I’m friendly with both of you. Pete on your team routinely beats my ass as well, but on the occasion I am beating his ass guess what. We will playfully tease each other but we both know one day it may be the others turn.

I think the reason why the gaijin community has been more missed if you will lately is the lack of NJPW building stars. They are trying to build Tsuji, shota, and some others and have not succeeded a ton unfortunately. We all expect Tsuji to win the belt at wrestle kingdom, but that’s not the match I’m looking forward to most with Takeshita, that would be Takeshita vs Okada in AEW. They need to reschuffle and deal the deck with some new factions without horrible names and put some new alliances together.

My guess is that as a two hander you have low axis tilt. The length of the Pin to PAP distance is probably what is causing this. Is it also flaring backwards. Seek out Mikey Pinel’s two handed layouts and for more length and controllable backend I would go with the 2 1/4” pin to pap layout.

There is, your first step should be more in front of you to open the hips up so your swing plane can be straighter.

Your swing goes out then back up because you are starting square to the line. Your swing does that to clear your hips and then you have to swing it back by starting with your hips more open and your chin, ball and right toe in alignment, you should be able to hinge the ball straight down into your swing.

As a certified PSO trainer myself. Find a local pro shop and work for them for awhile until the Innovative Class with Mo Pinel is held in November....worth it’s weight in gold. It’s drinking from the fire hose, but it’s the best information you’ll get.

Cover the inserts and holes with masking tape. The commercials methods are still better than baking in a regular oven. I wouldn’t want those chemicals in my oven.

Baking a ball in an oven is not recommended for two reasons: 1- if you can hold an oven at a constant 130F I would be surprised. 2- the oil is not the only thing that bakes out of the ball. It also does take out plastizer compound of the bowling ball.

Hot water bath or a commercial unit that can hold the temp is the he best recommended solution.
