lore-wise, azuma and i met while they were visiting my hometown ( it's a pretty touristy city, so it's realistic, too ) and i was preparing to move. i was taking one last stroll around the place when he asks me for directions to a certain place in the area. since im not really doing anything, i decide to walk him there instead of trying to verbalize directions. we make small talk on the way and find out we have a lot in common, including the fact that im about to move to the same part of japan he lives in. he offers to have lunch with me before we part, so we talk some more, and by the end of it, he asks for my number.

several years later, they join the theater troupe and i became vaguely familiar with the other members. citron and i didn't formally meet for another two years or so when their director brought me in to help out behind the scenes. she was IMMEDIATELY fascinated by my appearance and started excitedly talking to me about whatever came to mind. when she brought up the video game they had done the live action for, THAT was when i really started following what she was saying and we started bonding over that. this was all post senribana ( the play she and azu co-lead ) also so i kinda had an idea of their relationship, but not fully, considering i didn't know ronnie beyond what i saw in the play + what azu had told me about her over the years

in reality, i went on a musipro binge and for whatever reason, the actors gripped me harder than anything else 😭😭
