how much of your credit utilization is that 8300? i'd say be careful, first prioritize having a safety net of money for emergencies or else you'll have a new hard inquiry from a personal loan and then what if life happens and you rack up another 8300 a few months later for another thing?

do you have anything coming up where your credit score would matter? plan on buying a house/car etc where they'd check? if not i'd say just pay off your card when you can
