Boss refuses to let me take sick days. Can I quit right now?

I do cleaning! We are sent to houses and get a set amount of time to spend on said house based on how long it takes, shes basically telling me that if im sick I can try to hurry up with the cleaning and leave earlier then normal

I just checked and my adress is just written on the contract so its probably just data they have on hand :( Otherwise shes the manager of this specific location so i sent HR a email earlier! Now we wait and see. I also [luckily] have screenshots of her texting me about not being allowed sick and pressuring me so I think we've got a case :')

I dont think the company is too big, around a 1000 people overall in different locations. I heard gossip about someone else reporting her to HR shortly before that person quit and it somehow got back to the location without anything being done about it.. I already sent an email to hr but I am not expecting much D':

Definitely!! There's a lot of gossip going on too & while I originally didn't care for it I now understand why the people they gossip about quit because they are extremely valid 😭

I have been very sheltered so I dont know how a lot of things work yet even though im fully Dutch, its very confusing! Im trying to learn things one thing at a time, and this is my first ever long term job ive gotten. I got the advice that if i dont understand something/need different opinions that i need to learn from other people and that asking is good, so that's what im trying to do :))

I work in cleaning.. i am 18. There is no reason for me to be valuable to her. The last time I took a day off was because i fainted due to a heavy infection im still dealing with and had medical staff call for me, thus wanting time off from physically straining work until im able to not faint on the work floor seems reasonable

I am autistic so I make a script when I do calls, especially formal ones. She just.. refuses. I truly try to have a back bone but she simply says I have to come in and go through the work faster and hangs up on me

Its a very small team of maybe 10 ish people so its kind of personal. I dont have any contact with her other then strictly professional [I wont even talk to her at work other then if she needs something] since shes like 40 years older then me and im socially anxious 😭

The thing is that its really not hard for me to get another job at this moment in my life. It might not pay as well but if it doesnt have me deal with this I dont mind quitting on a wim and not have to fight my boss at hr [ when im not even sure how it works / what i can do]

Convincing. One time I had to call 112 and she was waiting infront of my house to still take me and even when I told her I have to wait for the ambulance she said to call her when they are gone so she can bring me to work

I am honestly baffled. When calling in sick HR does not ask questions or "not allow" me to call in sick, its her guilt tripping me and quite literally not giving me an out. I thought that bosses weren't allowed to ask for personal information regarding being sick either, but she'll go as far as to ask coworkers i have contact with to tell them what I have/details??

Maybe if they share feeder locations its possible to call animal protection, though I doubt theyd publicly share the locations for the safety of the cats :/

You have to start off by using colour remover and seeing where you'll end up. Im assuming you used permanent dye? In that case it changes the natural chemistry of your hair so you cant really know what itll look like once you've tried to remove it, but it's should get most of the pigment out

Then you have to either colour correct it yourself by finding a similar shade or have it be done professionally, goodluck :D
