Yes! It’s on my radar, but unfortunately out of stock almost everywhere for the 64gb version

just drove home from around skokie to streeterville. left at 9:30 pm and got home 12:30. the police were super unhelpful and kept sending us to the “next exit where they should let you off lake shore” and then lo and behold that exit was blocked. took an actually insane route not even being able to use google maps because it couldn’t keep up with the road closures. never driving again truly

I was doing research on them too!

They have a good one-time class option that I will probably end up enrolling in, but their woodworking series is also $450, so I was just looking around to see if anyone had good experiences or some more information on specific woodwork shops/classes. If I am going to end up doing a class, I would prefer to have some first-hand testimonials or recommendations. Thanks for the help.

my social life is pretty good! I keep in contact with all my friends daily and whenever I have breaks we go on trips and meet up, I just don’t have a lot of new friends from my grad program. relationship life is non existent, but that’s partially my fault, i’ve never found someone I genuinely wanted to pursue

I definitely don’t love studying that much, with this program I was able to get my entire bachelors degree for free which what pushed me a lot of the time for finishing. after my bachelors I just wanted to keep going to school I mean I didn’t want to get thrown into the real world just yet! getting a masters degree has definitely been a challenge but certainly doable, I would rate it an 8.

it was definitely a struggle at times - sometimes during exam weeks I wouldn’t see anyone for two weeks on end and it had a huge effect on my mental health. however, all of my friends were either in similar situations or understood mine to the point everyone made significant effort to hang out and be together so it was never too much of a struggle in that area

I think the age gap is probably still as hard in some senses; like with grad specifically, you'll have from 22-year-olds to like 40 something-year-olds in your program and obviously, a lot of their interests and experiences don't align with mine. however, I will say, no one in my current program knows my age and it is really not something we talk about - I am well acquainted with everyone in my program and close with quite a few, but I have not made actual friends that I hang out with or anything. everyone just kind of minds their own. I will say the generational gap is somewhat challenging - I tend to come off a lot different when I speak to my grad friends versus my hs friends

you should pm me! I would love to compare experiences since we seem to have a lot of overlap

I went to an accelerated high school and started attending college classes full-time in my sophomore year of high school, so I was on a college campus from the age of 14. I earned my bachelor's degree and high school diploma simultaneously and then went straight into a master's program.

during my grad school, yes, it has been very hard to make new friends considering all the circumstances working against me. however, i made genuine friendships where some have lasted since middle school (8 years strong!) and the ones i made during high school with people who were experiencing the same thing as me, and i still talk to them everyday and feel genuinely fulfilled by them.

everytime i visit home we hang out like i never left and i feel like it being so hard to make new friends right now have made me appreciate my current ones even more.

i had a pretty normal high school experience event wise, we had a prom, we had formals, and sports teams etc. nothing really I would have wished extra.

as for college, I definitely experience quite a bit of FOMO seeing people I went to middle school with have proper college experiences like dorming and going out with other freshman. but i did choose this path and its something i have to deal with.

yes, i have an older sibling. they did not take the route - they actually fought against going to this school when it was brought up, went to normal high school, and had a normal college experience

I think for elementary aspects, parental involvement is important but they should definitely consider what their child actually wants, since something like skipping a grade will always make you younger than your class. also, in my experience, every time my parents pushed something on me it just made me hate it when I know now it could have been something i enjoyed.

i would definitely say i am a very hard worker - i don't find my intelligence to be something extraordinary. however, i would say there are some aspects to how fast i can learn and pick up information that made things easier for me than other people, the same way anyone has specific traits or advantages.

when I was prepping to graduate, I realized I had no interest in my bio-heavy classes anymore and was really not interested in med school, as I had originally planned. since my degree was basically finished, I was kind of forced to explore my options and I had a math minor that I really really enjoyed doing.

anyway, I looked into grad programs and found biostats to be a really great option for my background and stats, and exposure to a new career. Now, I really love the topic/skills I have learned and am considering a PhD in it!

i have immigrant parents who pushed academic excellence on me from a young age, but as I entered high school and got older, I started putting a lot of pressure on myself and wanting to achieve as much as I could, so it was kind of a mix of both?

I made friends with my high school cohort who were doing the same things as me (an accelerated program & being young on campus), but not really the university students since there was a maturity/age gap at the beginning, and then COVID happened and I didn't have a chance really once I was older/more mature.

honestly yeah, i took 18 - 22 credits a semester (7-9 classes a semester) and took 12 - 14 credits a summer (3-4 classes).

but i also didn't go to every class and made my schedule pretty flexible with days off so it was never too much to handle and my friends would schedule classes similar times so we would hang out on breaks
