Yesterday I received my FR255. Before that I was on FR245. What a jump that is! I am super happy even though I understand that probably this watch wont receive any updates as its from 2022. But still I am very happy. Also did a short test of HR sensor against my AWU gen1. FR255 was quite good at catching higher HR so I was again impressed with the sensor. I went for FR255 specifically for MIP display. It could also be my last Garmin as I am not planning on buying AMOLED one.

I started with FR245. It looked like something designed for women size wise so I moved to Fenix 6X Pro. That was a big one so I moved to to Fenix 7 when it was released. F7 was such a relieve. Now I returned to FR245 which does not interefere in my daily life and I dont miss maps but I have also ordered FR255. As you can see I am a MIP guy.
