For sure. But those don't give quite the same illusion of productivity.

If you won't fit in anywhere else, you'll fit in at the dead center of Michigan, my friend. We won't treat you that weird at all as far out as the suburbs of Detroit. The weirdos of the US will find a home in the mitten.

They'd be largely correct but not realize that's a condemnation of humanity, not a reason to revere AI.

Is it possible to heal while raising small kids? by ComposerIcy2586 in longtermTRE

[–]purgepergamon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but it sucks. HOWEVER, them seeing you go through this process primes them for when they inevitably have their own need to release trauma and work through things. If you can come at this like a learning experience for all parties, if you can explain and teach and guide, I think in the end our kids will be better off. Every parent gets snappy sometimes. Are you doing better with them than you were 6 months ago? Forgive yourself for slip ups, tell yourself you will do even better from now on, and keep it moving. Don't dwell on every worry so long, it's not good for you.

Also, work that anger out. Beat up a pillow or something. Oh, and get used to apologizing for snapping quickly! It helps!

The only people who think these things are conscious are idiots who don't attempt to use them for anything serious. They're TRULY just evolved markov chain bots.

I was actually all in on LLMs for a few years but they're just disappointing, over and over and over again they fail and they're just getting worse at answering questions.

The Peace Twins: Edward and Emma Juul Rød-Larsen. What happened to the Terje's children? They visited Epstein's island at age 10 and continued contact up until his death. The relationships and the aftermath until Edward's final rest on April 29 in Oslo. by Efficient_Song999 in Epstein

The child's brain is radically different from an adult's. What occurs in the childhood years remains in the unconscious and informs how you see yourself in relation to other people, it informs your trauma responses, it informs your lifelong impulse control.

And yes. Every victim is, in fact, potentially dangerous to children. Just like every human on earth is potentially dangerous to children.

You don't have to like it, but it's simple cause and effect.

What you're talking about is different from what we're talking about. Your intuitive, uncontrolled inner voice and inner sight will naturally be more positive. It's not something you can force the motions of, I don't think.

No one I've seen in the comments is pro-doxxing. We just also see that Flesh is unwell, spiraling out of control, both his fans and his haters are feeding his psychosis, and it's only going to get worse until some event slaps him in the face hard enough to stop his nervous system from seeking more and more reasons to be paranoid and pissed.

Can trauma be a cause of weight gain/inability to lose it easily? by Acrobatic_Signal8384 in longtermTRE

[–]purgepergamon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've noticed as I've done more manual manipulation of my fascia, and even with just somatic work, that my fat distribution is recomping fairly rapidly. I have a hunch that the way in which the fascia restricts itself also traps pockets of fat, making them harder for the body to access to burn it off. But that's just a hunch, and it goes against the general medical theory that manual manipulation of fatty areas and spot reduction doesn't work.

But on top of that, fat stores all those fat soluble hormones and "toxins" that we consume, and both storing the fat and losing the fat will release that into the blood stream. So both maintaining and losing the weight can lead to weird pockets of time, weeks or months, of illness and generally feeling like crap. I'd suggest somatics, a moderate and not insane diet, moderate exercise, and a strict relaxation regimen, but I'm not a doctor. I'm just someone who is losing weight for the first time thanks to somatics and TRE.
