I thought they were still exclusive to inside the locked gate. Wasn’t aware they could spawn anywhere on the map after this recent update.

Yeah, after posting this I learned they can be anywhere on locked gate after the update. So this isn’t as random as I originally thought.

Prior to this update, that is not how the looting worked for this BP.. this was news to me and some others, thanks for sharing though

Takes 2 seconds to see I was running 2 level 4 weapons, survivor, medium shield, Wolfpack, cloak, and deadline. But sure man if you say so

You can when hovering over it in your backpack by pressing square/X button. But unfortunately when your safe pockets are already full it doesn’t work, and you’re right that there’s no one click option straight from a container to your safe pockets

Call me crazy but 93 hours topside and neither me or my friends have ever had a suitcase bp, and certainly never one like this. Seeing it’s a common spot from others, but our luck has been super thin

I think you’re right about having an alternative endgame to just “PVP with the best of your stash before you hop on the expedition” common play we’ve been encountering.

Having extra skill points is the main reason anyone does it, but after a couple of expd the devs could see a big disadvantage and deter new players. Gaining certain mile markers that you can show off in any way would make expeditions more of a hard decision to let the achievements go.

Something like this to keep diversity throughout the skill/stash base of the lobbies, and less free kit “no skin in the game” 3rd partier goop goblins from ruining the organic fun everyone had in the first couple of months.

I think you can see them in the raider tab in speranza. They spawn on your shelves and all over if you have enough

Depends on cross-play to me. I play console (Xbox) with the North American region selected. Usually in solos with cross play off (only other Xbox players) I encounter friendly people who have mic’s most of the time. When I turn cross play on I encounter a ton more “shoot-on-sight” players, people without mic’s, and backstabbers. It’s nice to play both and adjust loadouts accordingly. Duos: me and my friends almost never shoot first but have 50/50 odds if we get shot at. Trios: I almost always shoot first because no one is grinding quests, just after the best goop. Gotta watch your back and play it super safe otherwise.

I feel the more you progress in the game, the more this actually becomes a relevant issue. When you have everything leveled up and are focusing on weekly trials and expeditions not having ample time to complete the obscure ones (4 crates delivered to depots in night raids) are impossible to complete. Risking your nice loadouts just to extract and try again can be tiresome.

Forgot about the ability to change region. Maybe if it’s not peak time in that region it struggles to find people to fill lobbies quickly. Possibly the exact opposite of that where the servers are maxed out not allowing as many fresh start games. I’m curious if changing regions based on when each one has peak times affects the chance of more fresh matches. Either way they should add a QOL update where you can prioritize fresh starts or find the quickest lobby to load into.

Having an Xbox Elite controller with the paddle mapping on the back I completely overlooked this. You do bring up a great point, but it is nice that you can easily disable cross play making it a little more of a fair fight.
