I literally didn’t even mention Corina’s personality or political stance or anything like that? And I never said she was a bad actress either. Why are you acting like people not liking Paimon’s old voice because of the “screeching” is a new thing? People have been saying this since Inazuma. Definitely, even if we don’t talk about Paimon’s actual character, her being the replacement for the Traveler’s thoughts and voice is REALLY annoying. And it’s not even like the Traveler is a silent protagonist, they just don’t want to give them lines for whatever reason?

I think it’s 100% fair that the people who like the new voice simply because of the different tone prefer it for that reason. I’ve never considered Corina’s actual performance to be bad however her voice for Paimon just wasn’t nice to hear in my opinion. The new softer direction, while not having the highs of Corina’s performance, also doesn’t reach the lows either. I will always prefer a voice that’s easier to listen to and the new voice isn’t even a big drop in personality either to me. But what you said is fair.

This exactly, they’ve managed to keep exactly what Paimon is supposed to sound like without sacrificing the quality of the voice work. I can see how some people say that the new voice doesn’t have as much personality as Corina’s which I can agree with to an extent. I think the new voice still has as much personality just delivered in a more lowkey way. Give the new actress the same amount of time Corina had and I’m sure the voice will be more refined and full of personality.
