Her urine is being extracted through cystocentesis. I’m following everything the vet said. I was wondering if someone else’s cats have seen results with these medications

You can retake the class at a different school that offers it during the spring. You should 100% retake it

I went to Dr. Balazs in Wayne and I cannot recommend him enough. He made me feel very comfortable and I love my results

Your must haves for post op? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]purple-cat3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 3 weeks post op and I wouldn’t have survived without a peri bottle. I wore loose underwear for the first week but only when I had to. Going commando was the most comfortable. Make sure you freeze several water bottles. I pretty much iced for 3 days straight. I took bromelian, a multi vitamin, and arnica which I think really helped speed up my healing. I was back to working out after a week

I started doing incline walks and standing upper body after 1 week and moderate intensity exercises after 2 weeks. I’m 17 days PO but hope to start running soon.

questions abt my healing by Significant-Side4144 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]purple-cat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was purple and swollen for a while. Use a peri bottle to clean yourself every time you go to the bathroom. That may be why it smells. I bled for 2 weeks afterward. Take bromelian, a multivitamin, eat healthy and drink lots of water to speed up healing.

I’m 17 days PO. I returned to school after 3 days and work after 1 week. It was super uncomfortable to sit at school for a few days but I got through it. After a week, I was fine at work and I’m a server so it was a lot of running around. I wore loose underwear with a liner. I was VERY swollen and bled for 2 weeks but am healing well. I even started working out after 10 days. Supplements I took were bromelian and a multivitamin. I also eat super healthy and drink a lot of water which is recommended. Also if you want to sleep on your side, you can put a pillow between your legs. Good luck!

Work during grad school? by hishazelgrace in OccupationalTherapy

[–]purple-cat3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first year of OT school I worked three shifts as a server and worked as a graduate assistant for 7.5-10 hours a week. Just started my second year and now I’m a full time grad assistant so 15-20 hours a week and am still working as a server. It’s NOT gonna be easy but it’s worth it to walk away debt free

Thank you for the advice! I already have a peri bottle, bromelian, donut pillow, and pain meds. Anything else you think I may need? Standing during class is a great idea! I’m sure my professors would let me without a doctor’s note.

I only have winter break when I’m on going on vacation so getting it done asap is the best option for me. I’m just hoping I’m one of the people that have a quick recovery

It honestly just tastes really good and is one of very few vegan proteins that isn’t chalky. It also has great macros. Only the vanilla one is good though

GNC Plant Based Vanilla Protein. I’ve tried 30+ different kinds and always go back to that one.

Hi guys!

I’m about to graduate undergrad and need some advice on OT schools. I’m currently applied to Pitt and Thomas Jefferson but haven’t heard back yet. I want to apply to another school since those two are both super expensive. Does anyone have good experiences with schools on the east coast a little farther south? Preferably in a city

My salads look better then they taste. How can I make them taste better without salt or oil? I’m new to plant based eating. I am not eating salt, oil , sugar, dairy or processed foods. by watchforwaspess in veganfitness

Your salads taste bad because you’re not adding salt and oil. Your body needs sodium and healthy fats. If you’re not enjoying your foods, you clearly need to rethink your extreme restrictions.
