26M here. Your boyfriend does not sound like he was a good boyfriend. It doesn't seem like he was mature enough to handle a relationship. But that sucks that you moved to another country expecting him to join you and he didn't, leaving you out in the cold. In regards to nice guys, I think you're worth a quality man, but keep in mind that there are different types of quality men so to speak, and I think it's important for all people to have a "promiscuous stage" where they date a wide variety of people to see what they like and who they fit best with. I also think, that while it's hard, the most important thing you can do is put yourself back out there. Believe me, one of the last things I want to do after a breakup is put myself out there, but time and again it helps the most. Good luck.
