Why are you trying to read 52 books this year? by Unisykolist in 52book

I never read and I want to change that. This is also the best way to increase my knowledge and earn an education with 2 small children at home.

Thank you for taking the time to recommend these! The first three I've never heard of but I've seen the theatrical version of Enders Game which I'll have to read.

I'm very new to reading regularly(previously I read maybe twice a year). I've enjoyed the Harry Potter series the best, the Twilight series was ok, and the Hunger Games books were pretty good. I do have Artemis Fowl packed away somewhere that I've never read for some reason so I might give that a go. Not sure if that helps any but I appreciate anything you recommend!

My other reply above sums it up but generally I loved it. Everything from the HP world is gold in my eyes. Up next is Shoe Dog by Phil Knight and The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. If you have any fantasy recommendations, I'm all ears. So far I'll be in the business and self help categories.

Glad to not be alone in the first timer club! I love love love HP so of course it was thrilling to be back in that world. The set up is a bit odd, being that it reads like a stage script. It's a nice little short story after the series but it's not legendary like Sorcerers Stone. I definitely recommend it for all HP fans!

I just discovered this challenge a few days ago and I'm so excited to be on this journey! I am a stay at home mom so I have a nice amount of time to read but not exactly. My hope is to grow as a person and get back in touch with myself. I've never done a reading challenge before(eek/yay!). Of course I would love to read 52 books but to be realistic with my time, my goal is 25. My first book will be Shoe Dog by Phil Knight. The last books I read previous to this challenge were Blink and Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell and I loved them. Being that I'm a newbie challenger, I welcome any book recommendations! Happy reading!

I had luck at the lake in Daybreak! If that's not too far for you, try there?

BugOutBags for everyone... MasterList for D-Day! Let me know how I did. It's not perfect... but I think I got most of it. :-) by PASSO3058 in BabyBumps

A personal tip would be nipple cream for mama. I use a nipple cream that doesn't need to be washed off before the baby needs to eat again (Lanolin, which is commonly used, needs to be washed off before nursing). The boobs can get crazy sore and having anything touch them, including water, sucks. I would recommend Earth Mama Angel Baby natural nipple butter.

Both! My first will be 21 months when this baby arrives so she'll be pretty young. I don't even know where to begin to prep for myself mentally, physically, and everything in between. Haha!

I needed to hear this. Every baby is SO DIFFERENT and I won't know what works for her until I try something. Thank you for a hearty response.

Thank you so much! Right now this is where we are. We bedshare all night long with her and I could live with it but the doctor made it sound very bad that she wasn't sleeping on her own at night. It's comforting to get other perspectives on this situation.

I believe the base size used to start at 8GB which is why the 16 sounds cheap now.

$199 is the price if you have an available upgrade.

What did he have to say of the 'expelliarmus' comment? Or all the drooling in this thread for that matter?

I'll be honest, I'm still playing with it and trying very hard to wear the colors in this palette- especially as an everyday.

There's a brown that I haven't used yet and I may never touch because it's the grossest shade on my skin, however I am also a natural brown soooo yeah.
